Beautiful collection! It's funny, the Boy bags are really the thing that makes me catch my breath the most of all the Chanel bags out there. I'm more of a casual/edgy dresser and gravitated towards these iridescent pastel boys when I saw them in Europe. So beautiful... but too delicate of leather for me. Someday I would love to own a Chanel bag, and if I do, I want it to be a Boy. And again to go against tradition, the chevron is my favorite. (LOVE the color of your iridescent rose gold classic flap so much!)

Just bought a mini square from the pre-loved market this morning, it took me a while to bite the bullet as it was indeed expensive as you say (almost the same price as retail), but they are just so difficult to find in store, especially in the combo that I want! You have a beautiful collection. I agree with you that the new small double flap isn't good value for money. What is though are the vintage small single flaps. I have had one for 29 years this year and I can fit almost as much into it as I can get into the jumbo double flap, which I feel for it's size really doesn't hold much at all. But the small single makes a great evening bag and I can fit sunglasses, reading glasses, makeup pouch, asthma puffer, key case and more into it and they can be found on the preloved market for much less than the new double flaps, or the minis too.

As someone who is 5'1" I must say that I much prefer the medium classic flap. The jumbo just overwhelms me and looks way too big on me to be an evening bag where I feel like the medium can go day to night for me.

Re Boy Bags...I have a similar issue. I have 2 and for some reason I don’t reach for them! However, I love looking at them which really doesn’t make up for the prices I paid. Anything else I buy I usually wind up selling to Fashionphile within six months. Today, I purchased an offwhite drawstring bag by Chanel with brushed gold hardware. I was super excited as I was unboxing it. I noticed that the clasp on the drawstring does not have the same gold hardware Chanel logo as pictured on the Chanel website. Would you be concerned? It is a $4000 investment and I know that I would like to possibly resell it when I no longer wish to use in the future.

Thanks for your reply. I purchased it a few days ago from the boutique. It’s from the pre-spring collection 2019. The Chanel online photo for the drawstring bag in Ivory does not match the actual product. The actual bag is missing a small metal Chanel logo plate from the drawstring. I wound up returning the bag to Chanel last night. My concern was that because it is seasonal, I may lose interest in the bag and want to resell it in the future. My experience with FASHIONPHILE is that they will try to match up Chanel’s product information with the actual product. And there will be a discrepancy. I had that happen with the WOC I was trying to sell last year. There was a discrepancy on the date code and they found the snap closure to be defective. They would not buy it, even though I had the original receipt and authenticity card.
