'Unfortunately' the title is very true... Around nine months ago, I came across this channel. It was through a video on how to build an immersive sim rig. At the time, I had never watched any video on sim racing, it was just something that was suggested to my by the infamous YT algorithm. Steliyan's passion for this hobby was overly evident and quite contagious. As someone who's been into cars and racing ever since I can remember, it sparked me to look into this sim racing thing. Now when I look to my left, sits a pretty serious rig. It's nearing 'completion', meaning it's almost ready to be used. Then the real journey will start... So yeah, this channel is indeed very dangerous. It might lead you to discover and start a whole new hobbby! Hopefully I'll see you on the virtual racetrack one day Steliyan!

How can I stay away from you, when im addicted to your channel the same way I’m addicted to sim racing!? 🤪 I got lost in the rabbit hole for sure, but I try to keep a clear mind about what I can afford and (more important) what suits my skill level! For example: adaptive pedals for sure are awesome but still they would feel like wearing a Rolex to me. Inappropriate. I’m happy with what I have (already way too much of the good stuff), I’m glad and thankful I could afford it, I’m satisfied with what I was possible to achieve so far. I found out about you about 2 years ago after i bought my logitech g29. I used to play on a very high level in many pc games, but with time the passion for pc gaming went away. Watching your videos made me fall inlove again but this time with simracing, you inspired me so now i have built an insane rig (sc2pro, sprints, p1xpro, hue lights, etc.,getting many ideas from you, i even built a whole pvc rollcage surrounding the whole cockpit, closed the open space with fake alcantara. I wanted to recreate the rollcage of the audi evo2 gt3 from acc. The only thing left is the motion platform, button box and the nets (for now :D). Thx bro 😁 That part on the lens is just adapter for ND filters I which I use only outdoor buddy! For those videos I don’t use filters as the camera struggles with the light 🤛 I found it on eBay from China but must check where as it was some time ago

lol dude I am literally watching this video and hour after hitting the buy now button on the Simagic inverted P1000's and a video of yours was the final straw that pushed me over the edge. So yeah I agree, this channel is dangerous... for my bank account. The last two months have been unbelievably brutal on my finances but zero buyers remorse.

After the Simucube pedals which are crazy expensive, the P1000 are the second best choice with brutal value for what they are! The league I’m running, every one move to those pedals and everyone agrees with me 😁 You will enjoy those just make sure to take your time to set them properly on your rig for maximum comfort!

I am a new sim racer on Xbox and a g29 (for about 3 months now). I’m thinking the first upgrade I should make is saving up for a PC? Could you make a video of how you would build a pc as a newbie? Obviously I won’t need something as crazy as I’m sure you have but don’t know how much I need to save up for the build. I had my g29 mounted to a banquet table and had a camping chair before I built a little rig with a car seat out of 2x4s. Way more sturdy but in building it, I understood…. I realized THIS is what you are all into. It’s not JUST about racing. It’s about making something, changing it, improving it. Making it your own. Exploring. I thought you guys were cool but crazy, but I see now. I had the Ahhh-Haa moment.

This video makes me want to either ask you a long-running burning question in my mind / or give you a suggestion for a "discussion" video, RBM. And this is simply because you WERE a real-life Rally Driver at one point. So my question // confusion comes from the 2 different racing styles. I see rally cars sliding around constantly (but I mean also on BITUMAN not dirt). But when I watch standard race cars on roads, such as our own V8 Supercars. They avoid sliding as much as possible & try to be very smooth in their inputs. So I struggle to understand why the two types of techniques are arguably "faster", when in my mind the fastest one would be in both styles, shouldn't it???????. The only thing I can think of as an answer in my own head, is that with rally cars having "stages", they don't worry as much about tire life, as a road race car in a full length race needs too?....... But it still amazes me to see a GT3 car try to be as smooth as possible, yet rally cars slide around as you do in this video - yet no rally car tries to be "smooth" to make them "FASTER?". I'm soooo confused???

The problem with rally cars is they are usually soft and is hard to point them so yaw angle is needed to make it turn in and particularly with the power of the 4W drive cars, they can explode on the exits! Another thing is the rally stages corners are very tidy while on the track they are wide open with lot of space for keep the trajectory and the speed! Sliding is always slower but if you can’t manage to point the car wheel in slow corners you will lose more as you really have to slow down. On dirt surface that rally technique is even more pronounced as too really need to make the car turn way before the corner arrive with huge slip angle otherwise you have to stop the car to make it turn 🤛

If you had two two types of (road, not rally?) cars with the same weight & power - I wonder if the very top tier DRIFT drivers could be faster on any random race track (say like SPA'S very first corner) using that rally technique over the equivalent GT3 car's point & shoot technique?
