I was laid off from my job in real estate in January 2023 due to the steep rate increases and even steeper decline in sales (I worked for an in-house title company at a large home builder). I saw it coming months in advance. I’ve also been a cosmetologist for 10 years, so I went back to doing hair. After some major bs at the salon and a mass exodus, I snapped and decided to open my own fine men’s salon. We should be open spring 2024. Without that layoff, I wouldn’t have gotten my passion for hair back or decided to open my own salon. Everything happens for a reason ❤

I just lost my job too and it was due to injustice reasons I complained but the lawcase is expensive lol anyway the having an interview in the morning and getting a breakdown thing is so real and i feel you on that one ! The feelings of not being good enough as well

Exactly this! I know of another NYC KZbinr who got laid off 9 MONTHS AGO and is still currently applying, yet she goes on trips like every week, goes to bars 4 days a week, goes to cafes almost every day, and has workout classes at that. KZbin money must be really good to live lavishly like that in NYC of all places.

LOL the KZbin money does not exist.. I haven’t done any paid partnerships in the longest time and if you guys know how ad revenue works, u should know that that money isn’t sufficient enough for me to be spending lavishly (not that I am) a lot of the meals in this video were basically paid for by my friends/partner. Also, if you’ve been following my journey, u should know I’ve been living w my parents for the past 6 years so I saved up a ton while living at home :p

I Applied for unemployment on September 25th 2023 due to lack of work because my job title was eliminated.. Its October 22nd 2023 and still didn't receive benefits on debit card or judgement decision in the mail 📬 and after today on October 22nd 2023 it will be 4 weeks.. How long it took for you to get your unemployment?

I try to think that shitty job interviews are actually saving you from a shitty workplace? I hope you get a new one soon. BTW, if you have gut issues have you thought about switching to a protein powder with fermented sunflower seeds rather than pea protein which can be really hard on the gut?
