MCR and Gerard Way is on my list of motivational people. Since being diagnosed with end stage renal failure, I really just wanted my life to end, because I don't know what I did to deserve a chronic illness. I'm too young to have to stay attached to a machine 3 times a week, 4 hours each time. I've been on the transplant list for over 2 years now and still patiently waiting. Since listening to MCR and to Gerard Way talk (especially here), it helps me to carry on, and on, and on (guess what song that's from) to be awesome. I can't believe Gerard is about 30 here...this guy is like a time lord.

the fact that Gerard has been uncool and unloved in the past is just heartbreaking. to me atleast. Gerard is my Idol basically. The reason that he is loved so much now is because of the way that he can relate to his fans so much, and also because he's fucking hot. if I were to ever meet him I wouldn't really want to be there just to be there, I would want to talk to him and ask him if there could be any chance to be a friend to him, and he could possibly help me write comics or be in a band or both. but that may never even happen. but there's a chance. :)
