Linn, your pour over/Edmund Scientific setup is making me soooo jealous! 👀The coffee bar definitely is getting the recognition it deserves. And the kickstarter grinder is very interesting too. The clicks/detents on the burr setting are very audible and re-assuring as you demonstrated it. Definitely has that look from say, Sharper Image catalog in terms of it's industrial design.

For espresso , I'd be interested in your thoughts on the Cafelat Robot. You need a very good grinder, dark roast beans (reviews with lighter roasts never go well), and a kettle. The Robot is sturdy and has a whimsical elegance. Takes up so little room in our small kitchen.

It's been good! I moved it because the coffee station doesn't really fit it that well, so need to keep it elsewhere.

so you have to go through all of that to make one small cup of coffee? it looks nice, but I can really do without the chemistry set in the morning for my cup of joe. but it really does look nice.
