Hi everyone! I'm very sorry about the almost 28 minutes of video 😅 The original was even longer 😂. Thanks for you time!

I didn’t think it was too long. It’s nice to have lots of detail with a brand new product. Especially since you are the first one I’ve seen that has it.

As someone who appreciates not being tied down to an electrical socket, this is a very interesting concept for a grinder! I agree that extreme speed is not the priority in a home setting, consistency is more important! Would you consider reviewing something like the Pietro Grinder? I am very curious about your thoughts on it and maybe even other analog coffee machines like the 9barista. I appreciate putting the time in longer reviews - thanks for the quality content!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I agree with you. I'd like to review more tools but to do that I need money to buy them and that something that at the moment I don't have. I hope one day I will have the budget to do that. Thanks for your support!

Very good review, Matteo! Balanced, organized and well thought out. Thank you! That is a great looking grinder. I like the 2 in 1 adaptability. I agree with you, it needs a better design under the base. The slowness wouldn't bother me. Less heat and static produced. If I didn't already have my 20 year old Baratza Virtuoso grinder, I would be more interested in purchasing this grinder. Their Kickstarter page offers ZERO information or details about a release and a price. I won't support their Kickstart as lots of these Kickstarter projects never get off the ground and they never refund the $$$. But when it is released and being sold, I will look into it further.

Thanks for you feedback. As I say in the video, I'm not connected with them but they emailed me with saying that my review was helpful for them to improve the grinder. I agree with you about the recent coffee grinder game you see online and that many of them are there because the trend.

Nice review and I had to smile when you mentioned how you are into the aesthetics as I am to,and the magnetic pieces you said you loved that's me too man. I hope this is as good for grinding as it looks when they decide to release it. Cheers man☘️.

Thanks. Yeah, it's still looking nice. Didn't use it much in the past weeks because I was away for work. But still grinding good so far.

thanks Matteo, really considering this grinder and was bit suspicious with the brand and Kickstarter project. Glad that it is well built. But I still want to see what you think of it now (2 months later) and if you’ve managed to keep it clean. Maybe just a short video like a reel. Once again great video, you’ve won yourself another subscriber!

Hi, thanks for the comment. The reality is that I couldn't manage to open the grinder. So it's hard to clean. I also think you can find other grinder more performing on the market, of course it all depends on your budget. Thanks so much for the support

Hi, I am currently using this grinder and the espresso machine is delonghi ec 685. Do you know what grind size will be suitable? I have tried 14-16, the coffee is still coming out so fast. I understand you may not familiar with delonghi, but I would like see whether you can give me some advice. Thank you so much.

What is the taste compared to c40/c60? How is the flavor separation/clarity? Could you compare to ode 2 mp ssp?
@matteofromtheswamps11 ай бұрын
comandante is definitely better as consistency and quality. This still not a bad grinder, but probably find something similar at lower price. Ode 2 is way way superior. I've worked with it and I liked it.

I'm interested in the maintenance aspects of the grinder. According to your review the burrs cannot be removed and cleaned/replaced. What about the 1600 mAh battery? Can that part be accessed and easily swapped out? Thanks!
@anthmend8 ай бұрын
I have this grinder myself, to access the burrs use the Allen wrench. That's it it's easy just flip it expose the bottom of the Burr and use that allen wrench it goes right there in the middle you're welcome. But before you do that make sure they're both connected the power source and the Burr chamber where the coffee goes they need to be both connected for it to work.

Did I get this correct that it took 2 min, 30 sec to grind 18 grams of coffee? Maybe I didn't hear this correctly.

Great review. Very informative! @6:28 Surprised you couldn't take the burrs out, Cocinare's promo video makes it look easy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6i3ooR4mL2daaM. Curious if you'd tried again since filming and had any luck. Are they being a bit misleading about disassembly?
@matteofromtheswamps Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. I don't think is misleading from them. there is a screw that is easy remove to take out the burr, in my case the burr is stuck, I've tried with an hammer too, but nothing. Maybe it's a production problem. I didn't try anymore because I don't want to risk to break something.

@@matteofromtheswamps Thanks for the clarification; that's quite unfortunate. Very interested in this grinder. It seems ideal for my use case.
@anthmend8 ай бұрын
His might be an early prototype and might have defects the one I have doesn't have the bolts on the bottom it's got a nice soft grip. And I was able to use the Allen wrench to take the burr out of mine and it popped right out easy to clean and maintain . I honestly love it.
