Great collection. I actually bought all of these back in the 90s as they were coming out. Costco would sell a pack of 20 dc comic books for 8 dollars. That’s how I amassed my knight fall collection 😅

I felt this way when I completed all of Dr. Strange’s runs from ST110 to Doctor Strange, vol. 5. Granted mine aren’t all 9.8 WHITE pages, but it was a lot of books lol. Congrats, James. That Knightfall collection is top shelf! EDIT: James you really should put up a room darkening shade bc as we all know that sunlight will damage your beautiful 9.8 WHITE PGS wall… >8-)

Mad Respect for this collection. I love these covers too. It crazy how divisive this run is...this either got people into Batman or this is what caused them to quit Batman. Myself, I love your love this run. Maybe I missed it bc I'm commenting but it looks like you're missing Vengeance of Bane which is really the true first part of this arc.

Excellent job! I've thought about doing this before. Knightfall was the first Batman storyline that I bought when I was a kid. My mom later on saw it and then got me started on Archie Sonic comics. Now I collect Batman and Sonic comics (among many others).

I can't even pretend to not be impressed. It's weird, I still remember being in high school when DC announced that they were going to break Batman's back, and I actually got emotional. He had been my favorite hero since I first picked up a comic book in the late 70s, and this just felt soul crushing. Luckily it didn't last, and Bruce came back better than ever. That's awesome that you were able to complete this run, James.

Yep and they just did death of Superman I remember when I first read the breaking of the back comic that stilted his day is one of the most shocking moments in Batman history DC definitely was at the top of their game in the '90s

Nice!! :D these are some of my favourite comics of all time. I bought the whole Knightsaga in a collection of bashed up floppies as a kid years ago and read them all in a couple of days. Since then I've been picking up some of them in near mint condition when I find them. Few comics give me the same feeling as when I see those Kelley Jones covers!

Really great video. 1993 was right about the time I stopped buying comics pretty much altogether for many years - and definitely stopped buying any superhero/Marvel/DC stuff. So I never had any of these. I've always loved Batman though and while slowly getting back into the hobby over the last 10 years or so I've come across a few of these cheap in various places and picked 'em up. But seeing the collection displayed like you've done it is a real kicker for me - I doubt I'll ever get into collecting slabs seriously (don't have any now) or caring about 9.8 level grades in general, but you do make me want to go back to this series seriously before too long. Love seeing all the covers that reference each other especially, and it's a series with generally really terrific cover art.
