Hi Fitz, glad you enjoyed Yard Act. They are local to me here in the Uk (Leeds based). I’ve seen them a couple of times this year, both great shows. I know what you mean about McCulloch and not being able to understand a word! I saw them recently accompanied by a fellow scouser who also had absolutely not idea what he was trying to say to the audience 😂. Andy

Thanks for your comments, Andy. I don’t think I was in a “Bunny” mood when I saw Echo. Other friends enjoyed the show more than I. And yes, Yard Act was very fun.

I’d love to see Nick Lowe again. And I must say, I’m really warming up to the Dead. Might have really enjoyed that too. Good reminder to me to try to get out and see more shows. Ticket prices have really soured me on a lot of shows in the past 2-3 years. Plus I’ve been giving suburbia a shot and I’m not that close to things anymore….that’s going to have to change at some point.

The power of live music to move and inspire. Not all shows are transcendent, certainly, but there are usually songs or moments that really sink in. It’s nice to have a posse to encourage one to go to shows and I’m lucky to have that. I hope that doesn’t stop.
