My favourite time of the year has begun. Spring is slowly fading and the days are getting longer, sunnier and warmer. My cottage garden is in full bloom, especially my old apple tree and my tulips. Join me on a relaxing tour of my garden, help me make a salad and soup with my first produce this year. Watch till the end to see WHO VISITED ME. :-)
Lunch: Greek-style salad
Dinner: Nettle and sorrel soup

FAQ:
Where are you from?
- I am from Bavaria, but I love Britain!! :-)
Why Miss Anglophilia?
- At the age of ten, I had my first encounter with the English language at school. My teacher never tired of telling us inspirational stories about culture “on the island”. And that was it - I fell in love with it all! So Miss Anglophilia is me and it has been for many years.
Is this just about England?
- As for me, it all started with England which we were taught a lot about at school. I was lucky enough to live in England for a little while during my university years. There, I got to know many lovely people - not only English, but also Scottish, Welsh and Irish. So for me, “anglophilia” doesn’t stop at the English borders.
Why do you make videos about your garden?
- Well, I'm far from being a professional gardener, but just like many Britons I'm also fond of watching things grow in my garden. Over time I have changed some corners of my garden to give them a slightly British feel. In my series "My Cottage Garden in..." you can follow me through the garden year. I hope you enjoy seeing things change with the seasons. For me the garden is first and foremost a place to relax. With my videos I try to give you an opportunity to share in that experience with me. :-)
