This made me realise how important it is for me to create physical safe spaces as a way to fully come back to myself, especially as a neurodivergent person who is constantly striving to be myself, but can find this process hard. A simple room, with simple light, and simple tools for creating art. ❤

2:23 This part felt so validating 😭 I recently came to this realisation, and it truly feels like I've found peace. Trying to please everybody in a group felt so exhausting and isolating since it it's so out of my element (im a hard-core introvert 😅) Idk how it comes so easy to others. Most of the time i just feel like an akward alian hired to befriend humans but lied on her resume. I was stressed, anxious, embarrassed and frankly kind of sweaty on the daily. Now i just speak mainly to 2-3 friends that except me how i am and its been so fulfilling 💓

We share the same spiritual awareness and ways of transporting ourselves back to universal truth. Im grateful for you and the community of people that have gathered around you, drawn to the wisdom you hold. And yes, reclaiming your time away from social media and allowing yourself to dream about other realities is revolutionary indeed ;) too much of our time and energy is already accounted for by the imperative to work and make a living, we don’t need the rest of it to be wasted on social media that adds nothing to our existence. When we reclaim that time and that emotional investment, we open up space for self discovery and awareness. The world needs more self-aware people acting out of love right now. You are an inspiring example :)

Hitomi thank you SO much for this video. I connected so much with what you said about slowly coming at ease with creating spaciousness in solitude, allowing my thoughts, feelings, scenarious, and celebrate them, ad really embracing in the most loving way towards ourselves. I'm 28 and im at this stage where im connecting and learning so much more truly with myself and accepting more of the changes taking place, so seeing someone also encouraging embracing the different aspects of *that and embracing it as humanly possible, celebrating it for what it means and how fruitful it can be, fills me with so much joy.

Hi Hitomi...I always enjoy your videos and it makes me think of my own experiences. I am a artist who use to show in exhibits once upon a time. And to this day I still keep my hand in it. I show my drawings on instagram just for fun. I've been doing it for a little while now and enjoy it very much. However it is hard to find a target audience...people who have interest, etc. But I will keep trying. And yes art does have a spirit to it. It is a feeling of something highly pleasant and full of enjoyment for me. People always gravitate toward that when the work is presented well through technique. And the spritit is exhibited through that. I really appreciate your videos and your journey.

The artists way was my first ever book that tipped me into spiritual thinking of my own. It softened my heart and made me realise I can find god and infinite within my self and my art and ability to just conjure and create and to not attach to ideas and to celebrate other creatives who realise ideas I may had had without so much resentment. Surprised you hadn’t read it as you really give off that knowing energy found in that book 🤍
