Dude, if you’re after an immersive experience you need a bigger tv! Haha, lights don’t add immersion 😂
@SamInNZ2 жыл бұрын
I have hue sync box and a room full of hue lights and i can vouch that these types of lights absolutely make it more immersive. Saying you need a bigger tv to make it more immersive is like saying you need bigger 2.1 speakers. When actually adding depth to your sound by upgrading to 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound makes it immersive. Hue and these lights are the “surround sound” for visuals.
@bruceinmyheart2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but Hue is of a completely different quality with their gradient light strips.
@emilbangmik2 жыл бұрын
They definitely add immersion. I got ambilight in my Tv and it makes it feel wayyy bigger

I’ve added Hue gradient lights to my Sony OLED, and it really gives an immersive feel to my home theater set-up ! It’s totally tubular 👍🏻💯
@Jaur-jaur2 жыл бұрын
@@bruceinmyheart I had the hue light strip and switched it for the Lytmi Neo Pro Sync Box. Lytmi is better - 24 zones vs 7 on my 24” iMac. Way more zones than that on larger displays (every three LEDs).
@PWingert19662 жыл бұрын
One thing I like about the Phillips Hue kit is that they include corner brackets that you can use to run the strips around the corners by going vertical; transitioning a smooth radial curve a few millimeters high and then back to horizontal for surface mounting again. This is a unique feature that needs to be adopted by other manufacturer's including Lytme and Govee. You could also 3D point and attach your own corner brackets from Thing-a-verse. It makes for a OCD compliant installation.
@Jaur-jaur2 жыл бұрын
These are included in the Lytmi Neo Pro sync box. Also has a 45° angle just like Philips does. I bought it to replace Philips and I’m very happy with it

I bought two Apple TV 4K but I haven't been able to download any application for two months because both devices keep saying that I can't connect to the App Store (Apple can't help with that). I recommend other products like the NVIDIA Shield.
@SamInNZ2 жыл бұрын
Watching this makes me glad I splurged out on Hue. Hue is just 10x better for syncing the light, reduced latency and colour accuracy.
@Jaur-jaur2 жыл бұрын
Not compared to their other kits. They have him the cheap LED strip for his TV. The Neo Pro Sync Box and light strip beat Philips. Also it’s not limited to 7 color zones. Every three LEDs is a zone, so on my 24” iMac it has 24 zones. Larger screens have many more zones. Plus it’s way cheaper. Also it looks like he was in Movie mode, which has less accurate, more dramatic colors that respond more slowly. Video mode is the one that he should’ve shown, which looks much more like what you’d expect.

It powers on when the TV is on, and off when it turns off, so other than using it as a regular light when the TV is off, HomeKit isn’t missed.

I’ve had all Apple TV generations and every time I try an alternative i.e built in apps/sky box/fireTV/android tv etc I end up back with latest Apple TV, I can’t explain what it is they’re just better, using the other products is like going back to a 60hz iPhone after using 120hz 🤷🏻♂️ hope this makes sense 😅

I have my Fantasy 3 connected to QN95AA 75 Samsung TV, Apple TV 4K & eARC connected ARC, when connecting Apple TV 4K HDMI to Fantasy 3 & watching Apple TV subscription movies audio cuts out every few seconds, when watching Netflix or KZbin with the same connection audio does not cut out. Audio also does not cut out when connecting Apple TV 4K HDMI directly to TV, bypassing the Fantasy 3. I have tried several different HDMI cables & switching Apple TV immersive audio settings on/off with no success. Any ideas as to what-else I could try or is the issue either a limitation of the product or known issue?

I don't think that under couch strip is going to stay connected. Either gravity will bring it down or someone (or something - Roomba) is going to pull the power cord and rip it down.

Nice video, like the lights. But can we all get over the "Apple TV costs too much bla bla bla"? I bought my AppleTV 4K in Sept. 2017 for $199, and its still going strong (I've replaced a Roku on the bedroom TV that died in that time BTW). And this AppleTV 4K will prob go another 5 years (likes Macs)....seriously, amortize the cost per month, whats the REAL cost for superior hardware, no ads, the best user experience, TVOS updates even years later....??? How much a month are you REALLY saving vs. a "cheap" streaming player with a poorer software and UI?? A dollar? A few cents? Anything? For a device most people use 6 or 8 hours a day in their house? And I'll tell you something else, back in 2017 when some people were saying "Oh, but its $199....", I dropped my DirecTV and started SAVING about $60 a MONTH!! ...it was a no brainer!! It paid for itself quickly. I'll pay $199 to save $720 a year all day long! LOL ....and now the latest AppleTV is $50 bucks LESS (more if you adjust for inflation) for double the RAM, faster processor and more features. Again, nice video, like the lights, but...

Hey I think you need a bigger tv ?😊
@Jaur-jaur2 жыл бұрын
Bigger TVs aren’t better in a small room. There’s an ideal viewing distance, and if your TV takes up too much of your field of vision it makes for a worse experience due to reduced image quality, eye strain, etc. Lights like these, when properly configured, can fill your peripheral vision in such a way that it feels like there is no border on the TV at all, especially with really thin bezels. He’s using settings, strips, and accessories that aren’t configured ideally. Just do a search on KZbin for Lytmi Neo Pro Sync Box and watch a few videos on that product. You’ll see what it does when it’s properly configured. It’s really great!

E-waste can't be an excuse for this not coming with a usb c to c, or usb c to a, cable. I haven't bought a charging cable in as long as i could remember, and I've been re-using iPhone/iPad charging bricks with even my current devices. But the only usb c to c cable i have is upstairs, which came with my 12.9" iPad and which I use to charge my iPad upstairs. So now downstairs in my tv room I guess I will be buying a new cable. It's cheap but c'mon, including that cable would not be e-waste considering no previous apple tv remote charged with usb c, and previous apple tvs (at least the original HD and original 4k versions that I have) came with a lighting cable. Anyway, just thought i'd point out the slight bit of hypocrisy.
