‘I think that creating art can be such a solitary task that sometimes it blurs the line between working alone and working with loneliness’ this was so poetic omg I relate so much and honestly this line made me feel so heard but also inspired wow ,, you’re so talented!!

FINALLY, I COULD FINALLY WATCH IT AARGH. This was soooo interesting to watch, both the drawing aspect and the story/narration part. It's really impressive to see how you stepped out of your comfort zone to convey new ideas, and including how it's not that easy to just jump into something new without feeling doubtful or regretful. I really enjoyed the reasons for these new styles, and I could totally feel what you were trying to portray! The fashion background surprised me as well and really intrigued me. I don't really know much about fashion, even less of its history lmao, so my eyes popped out a bit when you mentioned pants in women didn't become a normalized formal attire until the 1970s! That's honestly insane and really reminded me that it hasn't been that long at all since we faced misogyny acts much worse than nowadays. Another thing that stuck out to me was when you said that sometimes you don't need to literally draw certain details to make the viewer feel or understand what you're trying to show, which I should follow by more. I'm a complete beginner at art, and yet I complicate it more to myself because I feel like I have to make a full detailed drawing or that if I miss some aspects to save time I'm doing it wrong. All in all, I had a great time with this video and honestly it didn't even feel like 40 minutes lmao, I was so absorbed by it time didn't seem to pass at all (I might or might not have rewatched some clips again lmao). I discovered your channel not too long ago, so I have a lot of videos pending to watch, and with vacation time upcoming here, I'm glad I can be able to practice more drawing and also learn from what you show us in your beautiful content

THIS COMMENT HONESTLY made my day u don't know how much this means to me!!! I was a bit worried posting this video because I know it's super long and there's a huge "educational" chunk right at the beginning ahh but hearing your thoughts makes me so so happy so thank you!!! I've recently been studying more about fashion and while it's often portrayed as a superficial topic because of the visual aspect; when I went to the museum I was so intrigued by the deeper meanings behind clothing! Also, it's so exciting you're just beginning your art journey!! I am 100% wishing you the best - what works for me may not work for you but I'm glad my little tidbit on details stuck out to you!! I remember hearing it from someone (movie?? book?? can't remember) and it stuck with me as well :O!! seriously this is such a thoughtful comment thank you again!!! your feedback is everything!!!

Sis, do u wanna make me fall for you or what? I generally adore people that are dedicated to what they're doing, that analyze the process and are not afraid to give themself a new attempt to redo or rethink something if something is going wrong. and i just fucking love videos where people talk and show the art making process, how they came up with the idea and other details. Thank you so much for this, now i have something to watch while being on the toilet🤏🕶👨🍼
