I love how you've included more of the thought process with this! I much prefer this more informed and conscious consumption of art where you get the chance to slow down, think and enjoy it more rather than scrolling past in less than 6 seconds with a quick tap to like then instantly forget it's existence

thankyou for including a person in a wheelchair and people with disabilities (physical or mental) in your designs. so many people forget that when designing clothes, people with different abilities need to be catered to as well as able bodied people. we have money to spend on nice clothes! designers/bushiness really need to be more inclusive and yay!!! for winning 🥰😀

thank you!! but yes i'm so glad that this resonated - right now the price point may be high for accessible clothing but i'm hoping that in the future it really will be mainstream enough where everyone can access it!!

Yesssss, I’m so glad you won! As a disabled person, I loved this, while nothing can be totally accesable (there’s different disability needs that are mutually exclusive, it’s imposible) this went so much further than even a lot of designs specifically made just for disabled people, please please design some stufffor bedbound people (I am and even having worked in costuming and accesability for years, there’s still issues I just can’t fix with clothing) and you totally seem like you’d have ideas. Also hmu if you ever want a chat about disability language, issues, what we need in clothing etc. x

Both in the "I should not let me life be chained up by this" but also in that good old social media algorithm fighting of "please see my work ;A; " way. This video was so inspiring, I love seeing your projects from start to finish, your ethics for the design are something I can get behind (on a personal note, want to support slow fashion but when each piece is in the 100s of money I am like WHO DO YOU THINK I AM???? I need Medium Fashion), especially knowing so many folk with ability issues. On another personal note - sorry you're getting all my fashion thoughts - I got a lot of clothes from my girlfriend recently and any that took me over 2 seconds to figure out how to put on was an instant "nope". I can relate to the creative and emotional recovery so hard. As a filmmaker I tend to go all out when given a big opportunity. Kind of learning how to do it in a healthy way without burning myself to the ground out of sheer determination.
