I’ve met Jason Segel twice when he was filming in Philly, he’s genuinely one of the nicest people ever. The first time he actually approached my friend and I out of a restaurant asking a question, he was extremely nice and down for conversation. I love it when you meet people and their public persona turns out to be genuine and real.

I hope Jason returns to another Muppet movie. That Muppet movie he did made me feel all the feels. It took me back to my years as a kid watching those first movies and at the same time it is a gateway to bring my kids into it. I recently saw this Disney documentary on Jim Henson and I can tell Jason has that same passion.

Bless him for his perspective and sharing it so clearly. Mister Fred Rogers' miraculous work which has bolstered millions of hearts was definitely guided by a very similar understanding of the magic of puppetry. Hope the theater is given the support needed to own and control its future, good for him for supporting them.

@sparkythancztwiseАй бұрын
@@vilstef6988 yes, and, he said that King Friday may have also been an agent for his expression of some other traits that could pertain to him. But Daniel Stripey Tiger was his real self, for sure. I love that puppet so dearly. Plus Lady Aberline. And love Henrietta Pussycat so much, and X the Owl was so amusing and instructive (by acting them out) about some unseemly behaviors to avoid. [My son used to meow to me, and I'd great him with a simple meow too. I bought a few shows on DVD for a little portable player we used. I discovered numerous years later that you can watch shows on their website. But best to not have young kiddo in front of any screen that connects to internet imho.]

I took piano lessons as a child, not entirely by choice. The first time I really enjoyed playing was when I learned to play Rainbow Connection. I loved Kermit. I used to image he was singing it with me. The only one who ever sang it as well was Willie Nelson, but I didn’t discover that until I was an adult.

I love that song! I can see why it inspired you…It’s a song about yearning, similar to the other rainbow song about yearning from “The Wizard of Oz”. Both very moving.

Is it just me, or does anyone else wanna see a movie starring Jason and Paul Rudd now? Honestly, he doesn't really seem like someone selling anything, but is passionate about his craft and any chance to talk about it. Pro golfer Lee Trevino was asked about his swing, and he told the interviewer how long he had practiced for (we're talking THOUSANDS of hours). And when the interviewer asked how you find passion, Trevino responded, saying "You can't teach passion. You can teach everything else."
