By far outta every review you have done, (and I have watched them all) this knife specifically franks' Battle is my favorite. And you have done a ton of videos but it just has that special overall quality that hits every mark in my book. Well done Frank, well done Jim!

Frank's level of quality is very impressive. When I got my Battle it was so much above what I had experienced with any other knife in my collection that I started thinking about selling my cheaper models and having just a few quality knives like this. I can see that your knife has enhancements to mine and I'm sure by the time I get my next one they will be even better. Great video and camera work BTW. Wow my 2nd shoutout.

Good God I've never seen a better knife or knife I want more and I'm certain I will never see its equal for the rest of my life. I can't even think of words to describe how perfect a design and execution this work of art is. Words like stunning, mystifying and exquisite dont seem strong enough to describe how this makes me feel to see

This knife just looks perfect! I can only imagine how the action on it feels, would love to feel it for myself! My favorite things about it are that amazing looking marble CF and also the orange peel/egg shell finish on the bolsters. They contrast each other superbly! Great vid Jim thanks
@987235461011 жыл бұрын
I think it's a good contrast that, back-to-back, you post a Will Moon with all of its flaws, sent out from a maker that clearly doesn't have the same desire to send out the best possible knife he can, and this masterpiece from a maker that won't rest until it is as good as he can possibly make it. Regardless of the prices of different custom knives from different custom makers, I think we can all agree that every maker should be delivering the best possible product that they can to the customer. Maybe some day Will will get that concept, Frank's definitely got it. Thanks for always being honest in your reviews, keep em comin'.
@yinzer8611 жыл бұрын
Just when I thought you couldn't top some of the knives you've featured, you bring your custom Battle to your channel. Perfect! Just got a Brous Mini-Division today! Thanks for your review on it. BTW, I can't believe a few people would criticize this video. They must suffer from "blade envy". If you have the means to enjoy a $2k+ knife, then go for it! Thanks for all you do for all knife guys out there.

Hi Jim - I started collecting 5 months ago and was perfectly happy with production knives. Then I discovered you and you have been tempting me with all the goodies you show. This morning I sent Frank an email for a customized Battle, hopefully I will hear back, but I know you will end up costing me a lot of $$$. Keep up the good work. I joined So. Hey Jim, love your videos except one point that I'd love to "see" improved: The sound when you're showing off the action. It's not as close to the microphone as you are, resulting in a "flat" echoing sound which I bet isn't nearly as good as the real thing. You've built a lighting setup and chosen your surface carefully to show the knives in the best possibly way, now I'd be amazed if you'd build a sound-setup for showing that awesome sound! :-) Just a friendly suggestion :-)
