Bottom line is if they get back together with their ex or anyone else for that matter it just means relationship is ended and shoudl never ever take anyone back due to massive trust issues anmd if they indeed got back with an ex or somone they knew previously its definitly is monkey branching and a massive betrayal you can never recover from it best is to let go be happy within yourself and find someone who can respect your values and vice versa.

My ex ‘monkey branched’ to his ex. He was very reluctant to tell. Had become distant over several months and I caught them by chance. He finally admitted it, after I confronted him. He said they had unresolved issues. Really hurtful at the time, but I’ve come a long way in my healing journey.

Still he wasted your time though and was selfish of not caring about your time and time is precious remeber thats the currency we can't get back ever. same in my situation my ex she did the same but her ex apparently (not sure 100%) told her to f off now thats what she told me so i said to her well I can't trust you anymore now and thats it these sort of people have no empathy still not happy cos of wasted time.

Yeah my ex bounced back and fourth 4 times between me and the rebound, there was even another guy she had s*x with besides me and the rebound. And she again left me for the this rebound guy. All this happened throughout 8 months post our brake up. The rebound doesn't even know what was happening between me and her. They are together now again since march or since she dumped me again after two weeks of talking again. Although all summer she stalked my stories unblocked me and blocked me again two weeks ago. Nevertheless, i started healing my wounds by focusing on myself. The journey will be long and hard, but the most important thing is to never give up!!!

That was happened to my ex he come back to his monkey branch ex and ending our 6 yrs relationship and they still together now but my ex is trying to get back to me again its really confusing me a lot I cant move on because he keep coming back.
