You MUST name the broker companies that lie. The industry (truckers) needs to have a heads-up with whom they are working. Shaming them is the only way to correct the bad behavior.

@KevinDiaz92 Would that not come under "Freedom of Speech" in the US? In my eyes, it wouldn't be classed as Slander or Badmouthing, as the prologue leading up to Rusty saying that the broker screwed him over, is the truth. I'm not sure how it works in the US, but here in the UK we sometimes have TV programmes that are dedicated to expose dodgy, corrupt businesses/business owners. EDIT - The TV show was called Rogue Traders, great watch 👍🏻

It amazes me that O/O's think that they have failed if they switch to be a company driver. I make $52 an hour company driver. EVERY week over 2k for 4 days work. I have no worries except keeping it between the white lines. I'm nothing special.....any professional driver can do what I do

A Broker that lies every time they open their mouth.....who knew ? The harder someone tries to sell you something, the bigger pile of steaming crap it is. A Broker has NO skin in the game and is not regulated by any entity other than greed. An "in-house" Broker is the king of liars. The quicker you learn this, the quicker you stop being bent over the bench. This is right up there with, "no forced dispatch", "we get you home on the weekend", "100% no touch loads" and we pay hub miles, not Household Mover Miles. Same as doing business with used car salesmen. Love many, trust few and always paddle your own canoe.

Thanks for this video. Been company OTR for over a year and a half, and I been feeling like I wasn't making as much I should have been. If I'm gonna be gone for months on end and only see my friends abd family a few days a year , I may as well be getting significantly better compensated for the effort. I thought maybe if I went owner op I'd have better luck but some of the owner ops I've met don't really recommend using swift as a broker, I figured I'd see for myself, but I definitely don't want to to lease anything. I value my freedom so to speak, and if I'm forking over the big bucks , I want to be able to take my truck and go elsewhere on a moments notice if the need arises. Thanks for sharing your experience, this video was extremely informative.

Don’t do it, stay company. Your making more than 90% of the country. You go Owner OP or Lease you would be bound to the truck. I don’t know your situation but if you have a wife like me don’t do it even if they support it. If you can go local do that man. Good luck

You may need to drain some water from the bottom of your fuel tanks. I’ve found that a bottle of FPPF in each fuel tank is a good start in clearing out fuel, you may need to Super Saturate your for a short while along with swapping out both fuel filters.

Swift is all around bad news. I am a company driver for them. They told us we would make $1500 a week originally. Then they said 2500 miles a week. They told us that our contract for tuition reimbursement was 10k and we had to work 53 weeks. You only get $7,995 and that was after 104 weeks. Also, they will not give you any decent loads and when they do give you anything over 500 miles they make you wait a day or 2 before you can pick it up or drop it off. Haven't made over $1000 once. They will not give you better loads no matter how much you ask. I average $500 a week or less and im out for months before returning home. Avoid Swift and Knight at all costs. They are liars and thieves.

As long as drivers keep accepting the mistreatment of the driving force, this will continue to happen. Refuse to pull cheap freight, refuse to not get detention, and stand up. You will be surprised what will change. The reason broker's are stealing from the drivers and ripping them off and getting rich themselves is because people are afraid to stand up.
