my man. this turned out so damn sick. i always get a thrill from finding new ways to create texture for airbrushing, and i really like the crossed threads, and the stacked bits of tape you pulled away one at a time. so much respect for how much effort went into this piece. absolutely gorgeous. almost didnt notice the thicc booty, i was so taken by the tank! lol

Im about to try this on my chopper build. Im not sure where to start the masking. How do you know the order of masking. I see the base coat is the pin striping. Do i just have a rough idea, but know where i want stripes. Then wing it. Also what about making sure the paint sticks between coats. Is it sanded before the clear finish. Cheers.

Hey guys! Some information about this tank: before starting work, I didn't know what the tank would look like, I didn't have a complete idea about design. I refused some ideas during the creation process, for example, I changed my mind about separating side panels. I decided to add something along the way, I was wondering how the tank would look like if I tried this or that painting technique. For the side panels, I used a flower wrapper, from which I separated all the thin elements, which I later also used. I just experimented and it turned out what you see. If you liked the result or maybe something else, be sure to let me know, press thumb up, it is very important for me to know your opinion. I will also be glad to your questions, write, I will wait! And be sure to share this video with those who might be interested.

on the top, over the red design you did with the tape (what an awesome idea, by the way).. when you ghosted it, was that just black candy that you went over the red with? if so, how many coats to get it that "ghosty"?
@Z11KUSTOM2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Well.. It's ordinary black paint, not candy. I just covered the red

It depends on various circumstances. The price depends on the condition of the tank, on the urgency. The size of the tank is important and etc

Bro you don't need to put any models in the beginning some of us are actually here that does this work as a living. And we are learning new techniques from you. Just saying bro. Sick ass work though. I'm working on my motorcycle tank and fenders. Aiming at kandy rootbeer marble affect with gold flake. Only thing is I can't decide what color for the sealer to use to make the rootbeer affect pop. Any pointers?
