I was addicted to this game when I was younger! It might be the first game that I actively tried to beat 100%, rather than just play through it. Everything was fun, the racing and the crash mode. Easily one of the best games ever made (for it's genre).

one of my favorite childhood games and possibly my favorite video game ever. the crazy action, badass upgraded cars, and traffic checking make the gameplay much more satisfying than suspenseful when speeding at >200 mph

The BEST Burnout game, i love revisiting this game on every chance i have.

I like this game for the crash system. The fact you can hit traffic is amazing. But if you prefer speed and boost combos, Dominator is better. If you like simple racing, 1 and 2 are great. IMO, Paradise is very underwhelming.

Dude, Burnout Revenge and Takedown tie up the top spot for favorite Burnout games. The sound design, vehicle design, environment, gameplay and OST are soo good and recognizable. I just love the little touches to the sounds to the gear shifting, it's soo satisfying to hear. Especially in Revenege where you can hear a bit of straight cut gear whine on a few of the cars. Heck, it makes a certain starter car in Revenge sound like the M3 GTR when in GT spec.
@keatonwastaken2 жыл бұрын
You are not alone with this being your favourite game, this one had the best visuals, tracks, objectives and challenges, also the world design was extremely memorable, i remember every map when i see it. The game was overall just smooth as silk, everything worked well together from car physics to camera physics. Also ran really good on PS2.

I just love Burnout Revenge such an amazing game I have so many memories with it from the PS2 and X360 days lpved the soundtrack and carlist in this game the latter is my favourite part about Revenge.
@vaulthunterfromterra40532 жыл бұрын
2:01 The second to last version of that car is my favorite to use because (at least on PS2) it had a Crash Breaker of 7, to spite it being a race car.
@sooperdude222 жыл бұрын
My favorite Burnout game had to be Point of Impact. Mostly because I only had a Gamecube at the time, so I wasn't able to play Takedown or Revenge until I got an Xbox 360 in 2008, and Paradise with it. That, and the Driver's Ed was one of my favorite cars to race with.
@walteravila40722 жыл бұрын
Love REVENGE, i feel like Paradise lost a lot of speed, and the open world style dont grab me that much.
@shadowknight93952 жыл бұрын
Paradise is boring and isn’t worth of a replay like Revenge but it was fun to play It’s the open world that definitely killed the meaning of the franchise
@walteravila40722 жыл бұрын
@@shadowknight9395 totally agreed, is hard to keep momentum on an open world, dont envy the guys who had to make that map work out.
@m.raihanammarfachrezixpplg78982 жыл бұрын
@@shadowknight9395 I would fine with open world IF the world itself can keep the cars on high speed just like how previous Burnout did. The thing is that some of high speed races is just too short, which kinda decreasing the fun of the game

5:13 In case if someone doesn't know yet, you can slow down the explosion timer by keep pressing the impact time right before the countdown, which make it easier to refill the boost bar again 7:13 Heavy traffic in later events already making traffic check harder man

Honestly, the only thing that was preventing me from liking Revenge is the atmosphere of the tracks. Aside from the one night stage, every track is either gray or yellow with a gloomy cloudy weather. The varied vibrant atmosphere of 3 is what helps it become memorable to me. Dominator kinda struck a balance with the atmosphere with enough gray and yellow tracks with some vibrant colors added in, then some actually vibrant sunny tracks.
