@AzureLakeZone Yes the Switch definitely offers more versatility and is much easier to collect for, but the SNES is so special to me and was so important in my childhood and making me into the gamer I am today. Plus it has some of the best games ever made!!

I'm old.. lol... so I started gaming before most everyone in this video. The first system to REALLY grab me and make me a fanatical gamer was the Commodore 64. Yeah, I know it wasn't a console, but it might as well have been... it had thousands of games made for it and was mainly used as a gaming machine by almost everyone I knew at the time. That thing was amazing. If you are going to twist my arm and make me pick a proper console system, my favorite is probably the PS4. Yeah, I'm going modern here, but that is because I think the games on that thing are plentiful and often of great quality. It also has a LOT of retro games and remasters/remakes available for it, so it covers a lot of bases. ;-) Honorable mention to my PS Vita. Not sure handhelds are fair game, but I have a couple Vitas and one is modded and I have it STUFFED with emulators and retro game goodness. I literally play it daily and it goes with me everywhere. For most all of my retro gaming, it is on the Vita.

Honestly the PS4 is a solid choice. I was able to finally get into the Yakuza games with Yakuza 0 and fell in love with the franchise since then. The PS4 really had a fantastic library.

@@_Sergmanx_ I am actually friends with someone who has done voices for several of the Yakuza games and I am embarrassed to say I never have played one. lol I need to remedy that. I always hear how great they are.

Amazing! I've never played the Commodore 64. The first console I played was my mom's Atari 2600 when I was a small child, before she got me the SNES. I still have it too! The PS4 and Vita are both excellent selections! I love the Vita. I recently played Tales of Hearts R and had a blast!!

@@ShellySteamDeck I have Tales of Hearts R, as well! :-D I need to dig into that one! I hear it is a good one. And yeah... one of my earliest consoles was also an Atari 2600. I still have it! It still works like a charm! lol They made stuff to last back then. ;-)

@KabukiKid Oh Tales of Hearts is an amazing game! Especially if you like the older Tales games! Yes, I've had to replace my PS3 twice, but my mom's Atari still works!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video..thanks for checking it out! I had a lot of fun with this project! 😄

Just discovered your channel Serg thanks to Shelly! Great vid reminded me of the old school gaming KZbin era. As for my fav console I'm with Rad and Spoons, the PlayStation 2! Also love the PS1, SNES, and Genesis. Reason I love the PS2 the most is the variety of games/genres and so many hidden gems, it had it all. Thanks Shelly loved your section of the vid the Super Nintendo is is indeed special and my personal fav Nintendo console 😎.

Hey Jrunn, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!! I've been a fan of the channel for a while, so it was so amazing to be a part of this collab. Excellent choice with the PS2! The PS2 is actually my runner-up, behind the SNES. The SMT/Persona games, Shadow Hearts, Xenosaga triology, the .Hack games, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Dark Cloud, FFX, GoW, GTA, Tales, Disgaea, Atelier Iris and Valkyrie Profile 2 are some immediate stand outs for me. PS1/PS2 introduced me to so many games and franchises and is a top contender, for sure!!
