I'm right there with Tosh. I love horses, married into a horse loving family, but I don't want to ride them. Turns out you can do something called 'halter shows' where it's basically just who has the prettiest horse, no riding involved.

The term "Vaquero" means cow handler in spanish. When Mexican people called Texan cowboys "vaqueros", they thought they were saying buckaroo and that's how the term buckaroo came into existence.

Horses actually feel fulfilled when they have healthy relationship with a rider , they can develop such a deep bond often the Horses will go against they're own instincts and just blindly trust what they're rider is telling them to do and that is to be able to go against your own nature, that is some heavy sh*t ! I don't think they dislike being ridden but the opposite it actually fulfils them and makes them whole when they have a companion and owner to take care of them they are also incredibly loyal and smart animals ... We should cherish, respect and basically take care of all animals and instead we let them down even worse, and we'r the only ones they rely and count on.. 😢😖 it's F-ing heartbreaking
