I’ve been working in the touring world for 17 years and really enjoyed this episode and the previous one where Tosh really pulled back the curtain on the industry. Also! It isn’t a tour until you have Jimmy John’s ! I love how involved he is in all the aspects of his career and how much insight he shared about the road here.

You seem like a good dad tosh! I always promised myself i'd never be like my father. He constantly worked and I never saw him. I have zero positive memories of him, certainly nothing fun like traveling with him or playing games with him. I've got a son now and due to my work schedule (3-12 hour shifts a week) i'm able to spend the majority of my time with him. He's only 8 months, but I still love spending my day with him. I'm looking forward to the games we'll play together, the road trips, the memories. One thing i've discovered working in the medical field is at the end all we have is family and friends. If you miss out on that time you'll never get it back.

I was at the FireKeepers show with my buddies and it was awesome. I don’t remember the context, but you mentioned the number 22 at some point in your act and later, when I was playing roulette I decided to play that number and I think it hit 3 different times so I made some nice money off of that. You probably don’t remember individual shows too well, but one of my buddies was the one who shouted out “SHITTING!” When you asked the audience what our favorite part of the day was. You mentioned that you hear that answer all the time at your shows, but we were dying laughing after that moment. Great show!

I always imagine the lives of performing artists are so glamorous that i wish i could be living it. Then i see what they're really like and i think of never want to go through all that. I heard a famous rock musician say once that he never thought before he got into it and famous that being a rock star was mostly waiting, sitting around in airports or other places that really aren't glamorous at all. Even if i had the talent, would i really want to go through all that?
