Absolutely love Dr Michael G! You cannot go wrong with him and my life is forever changed for the better because of following him. Thanks for the review in the new book. I think I will listen to it on audible first and then pick up the hard cover to use as reference. Makes the science a little easier for me to follow if I get it that way. Well done Sophie and thanks so much for your hard work and dedication to getting us all back to a healthy place.

Thanks Sophie! Love Dr Greger and his dry humor! My hubs is now on board with our WFPB eating. We lean towards Dr McDougall's Starch focus. Another excellent book is by Dr William Li, Eat To Beat Disease.

The China Study Cookbook and Forks Over Knives cookbooks are good choices for vegan and healthy cookbooks. Most of my other vegan cookbooks tend to the slightly more unhealthy I.e., vegan versions of desserts, faux cheeses, faux mayo, etc, using oils and sugars and white flour.

I am personally not a fan of Dr. Greger. Personally I would not want to look like him~he looks unhealthy and unfit to me. The other issue is that he recommends only 3 servings of fruit a day~I have found that the more fruit I eat the more vibrant I feel! One, IMO should never restrict fruit! Nor veggies! If you restrict fruits and veggies, you will be tempted to overeat the bad stuff!

I think you can eat a lot more fruit. I don't think he says you can ONLY eat 3 servings of fruit a day. I beg to differ on your opinion of him. Whether or not you like the way he looks, he has spent the better part of his life doing meta analysis of all available research on nutrition - an arduous task, and his profits to go charity. I agree with you, the more fresh fruit and veggies I eat on a daily basis, the better I feel!
