Nice piece, definitely a lot to like there from aesthetics to specs. As an avowed micro brand lover, I appreciate the intro to the brand. FTW they put DLC on the rotor (!) and you said “bubble butt”, so all is good. For “moans and niggles” (luv JOMW), I think the size/proportion of the handset is off, and the lume is not where it should be for the price. That said, I’ll be checking the brand out. Nice episode.

I think it looks great 👍 and I also need a add something DLC coated.I been eyeing the Boldr Expedition that has the DLC or pvd coating. I don't really remember which. The one watch ⌚ that's pvd coated that I would love to own. Is the original Orfina Porsche design 🔥

Modified movement…..? you mean black rotor 🤨 they just painted the rotor. Like the carbon bezel, I’d love this in a bead blasted steel case with the black bezel and black crown- that would look epic 👍

Beautiful watch, and 200m water resistance on a display caseback? Very brave watchmakers as it's very common to get leaks around the area the rear crystal seams with the steel surround. I've experienced the problem with another well known microbrand with 200m wr while diving to less than 60m. I'm not sure I trust that but most people won't be diving any deeper than the kitchen sink anyway. I'd be interested to see if they test each watch to 10% over 200m to ensure it does what it says on the dial. I'm sceptical about that resistance rating but it's a very nice watch and a good price. I'd buy it for sure but I wouldn't dive with it.

I hate the SW200-1. They use a lube on the two inverter rotors that help wind up the reserve wheel which really come to a grip after a few uses, something I never had with an ETA or a PT5000 ... must be the oil they use. I had to ask my favorite watch repair shop to repair 5 of them, and I owned 7 in total ...

I have decided that I don't care about dive watches anymore. To me they are like toys in the watch world. They are big and bulky, bezel insert is useless, I never swim with my mechanical watch, you can;t dress them up and they are pretty childish. My personal taste and opinion.

It's not an ugly watch but not a good looking either. It looks rather generic, boring, uninspiring. It actually looks cheaper than it is. I like the black DLC coat though.
