My favorite deck has a story: I ran a campaign for my D&D group and they all really liked the main blacksmith character, so on the next campaign with that group I decided to make that blacksmith my player character, and he again was a table-favorite. Big Minotaur Cleric (Forge Domain) who protected everybody. So the DM of that campaign sends me Firesong and Sunspeaker (a Minotaur Cleric creature) and says "you have to play this out of principle". It wasnt hard to make a Firesong deck, it plays exactly how you imagine it would, but because of the story behind it its easily my favorite. Its an extension of me, the world I made in my campaign, and the character my group loved the most.

My absolute favorite deck to play is Nemata, Grove Guardian. As of writing this comment, there's only 125 decks on EDHREC for it. I wanted to push mono green as far as I could with this Commander. It was the first legend that I ever pulled from a pack, back when Planeshift was in Standard. No one wanted to trade for it, it never held value, and was always seen as junk...years later when I came back to the game and EDH was just starting to get support I started to assemble Nemata. It was slow going at first, as there wasn't anyone really trying to solve the dilemma of board presence vs threat. My take on it was fetching lands that enter untapped while having mana doublers on the field, allowing the deck to speed up. Green also has a lot of 'return target card' effects on old cards. Just keep getting back your ramp and card draw pieces. While that goes on, I get Nemata out with 2 or 3 Saprolings. That keeps the table's threat away from you. Once you have enough mana doublers, you drop a 4th or 5th saproling at the end of someone's turn. Untap on your turn and double your tokens with any effect, then reoccur that effect, creating 15 on your turn. Attack with the 5 that can, and sacrifice some of the others to bring everyone down under your life total...then Hurricane the table. The deck also packs land combos like Vasuva + Dark Depths. It's a fantastic puzzle to solve and I cannot wait to play it again at my LGS.

Ao is already a really strong and viable mono white CEDH deck usually goes infinite with ashnods altar and nims death mantle, enduring renewal is also a win con in the deck, ao went over a lot of people heads but its really good

My all time favorite deck is Sevinne. It was my first precon and I continually modified and upgraded it. I can make a swarm of Dream Trawlers, I can go infinite with Ral Storm's Conduit, I can one-shot someone with Battle Screech and Rally the Peasants, and sometimes it does nothing. The only thing that haunts me is my Commander's CMC; he's so painful to recast. They should have made him a three mana 0/2 defender. My second favorite deck is Cosima's mono blue landfall. It started as a home for all the fun blue cards that never found a place anywhere. It only contains three counterspells, one of them being Voracious Greatshark. I find myself liking dragon decks. I've built and played Lathliss, Tiamat, Chromium Mutable, Galazeth, Miirym, Firkraag, Rith Liberated, Ziatora and Dromar. Right at the moment I'm brewing Shanid's legendary knights/dragons. Merieke, Kardur or the Blood Avatar will put me in the archenemy's seat before the game even starts. I'll play them from time to time but only once, then I'll switch decks. My playgroup is thankful for that. A deck I liked at first was Esix. But it's so incredibly dependent on the commander. If Esix gets removed I'll lose, if not I'm probably winning. It can get one- dimensional; I haven't played it for some time. Same with Unesh and the sphinx storm. My least favorite deck is a heavily modded Ranar foretell/blink precon. I always lose track of the triggers, there are just too many of them. And the deck has not enough ways to actually finish.

I have two. One is a Zur the Enchanter deck that searches for Paradox Haze for upkeep tribal. You can then grab mirrormade, copy enchantment, and estrid's invocation for even more upkeep triggers. Cards like Herald of Leshrac, Twilight Prophet and combos like Oriq Loremage and Sheoldred are so powerful. Its so fun and so weird. The other is Katilda Dawnhart Martyr. She is SO much better than Light Paws in my opinion. Very combo-y and flavorful once you actually start building. You'd be surprised how easily it can bounce back, draw, and how hard it hits.

Frantic Salvage. Put any number of target artifact cards from your graveyard on top of your library. Seems like a perfect fit. And it will earn that cherished “what’s that card?” response from opponents.

My favorite deck called Heroes of the Multiverse. The commander is Esika and the theme is she recruits the heroes of MTG and from around the multiverse. Prismatic Bridge is the portal she opens up to send our heroes to stop evil from destroying or conquering things. So I run the universe beyond cards like Rick, Eleven, Abraham Van Helsing, Godzilla, and will keep adding things like Transformers, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, etc.

Love it! This deck might enjoy Snake Basket as another option for a token alt win con. At 4cmc it IS commander fetchable, it’s a great mana sync, and it fits the self-sacrificing artifacts theme!

My favorite deck to play is my Horde of Notions Elemental deck. Just a good old beatdown with big Elemental creatures and a lot of Enter the Battlefield triggers. Just something about it I love.

I love Oswald Fiddlebender, turn your 0cmc(Treasure) tokens into 1cmc, that 1+ to cmc can be very important. I been tinkering with my Dihada deck and adding more of a Treasure sub theme to win with Revel in Riches, since you could have 6 treasures and use Dihadas second ability to quickly get 4 more treasures :P

My favorite is my jodah the unifier deck. It's hard to keep track of the cascade vs jodah triggers but its super strong and super fun

You need to play Nim Deathmantle and Blade of selves in your Ao deck, it is so much value I love building up a big board of small parts with this commander dying at least once per turn ! Gift of Immortality is also a perfect fit

great video! always love the decks you come up with. I know you're not crazy about the unfinity mechanics but once the set was fully revealed I had planned out a The Most Dangerous Gamer deck with a voltron theme. I pre-ordered / ordered all the cards and finished building it the other day and it's been a lot of fun. the attractions dont feel too silly and i like the random bonus effects they can often provide, I run 21 of them (I excluded the sticker attraction) so that i can consistently open new ones, didnt lean too heavy on the open an attraction support cards in favor of more efficient ways to buff my commander like cards that doubled counters. actually won a few games with it! I'll be balancing it more as I play it more and more to see where it's lacking but it's my new favorite deck! got a lot of my inspirations from past videos you've made.

I like the direction you took Ao ! I have my own and it is very fun to play. I went with the artifact / equipment theme. Pairing Anointed Procession and Blade of Selves to get 6 copies of my commander's death trigger. Cards like Puresteel / Sram to draw I only have 2 non-permanents in the deck to reduce the whiff chance.

Myr incubator!!! That is my wincon in slobad! That with reckless fireweaver. I use feldons cane, campfire, and elixir of immortality as protection for my graveyard but they also double as part of the combo. Sac all my artifacts except for one of those and the incubator, use that to shuffle all my artifacts into my library(62 artifacts in the deck), then use incubator for the win with the fireweaver. Although, my favorite win was when it got down to me and a gishath deck. I maze of ith'd his commander and then made 54 myr at the end of his turn and attacked for lethal on my turn haha. My first game with the deck I won by using a null brooch to stop a counter to my combo hahahaha

My favorite deck is Titania, Protector of Argoth. I love lands in general but the risk/reward play of having to sac them is amazing. I'm also a big fan of abusing the hell out of command beacon (much to Melissa DeTora's chagrin) and there's nothing more satisfying to me than winning with 0 lands in play, especially if I started the turn that way

My favorite deck has actually never been tested irl. It's old-school Jeleva and its theme is "casting your opponents' cards from exile". In playtesting it was very strong and always surprising (because of the variance provided by your opponents' cards).

Ao, is also one of my favourite new decks along with Kairi, The Swirling Sky from the same cycle. Both super underrated which suits me! I have a lot of overlap with your deck but went with cheap token producing permanents so I can take advantage of Ao's other ability later in the game. Resurrection orb is a new include which is a fixed Nim Deathmantle, and Gift of immortality works well too. And yeah, Blade of Selves is the MVP. I discovered quite a few accidental infinite combos while making this list which I know you're not into, so be wary of those! So many directions you can build with this one. Enjoy : )

My favorites fluctuate from deck to deck... ...but I quite a bit internally celebrate when problem colors/strategies get a banger deck, or I get the last piece for a collect-a-thon brew for either. Baldur's Gate and Forgotten Realms (as well as others) have given me the opportunities for deckbuilding I wasn't thinking I was going to get. Ao (the Dawn Sky) actually got kicked out of my mono-white vehicles, though the dragon spirit could probably make it back in after sleeves and testing. Lulu, Loyal Hollyphant//Veteran Soldier it is... ...and I recently snagged a Nautiloid Ship and Golden Argosy for the 98. Oswald Fiddlebender probably should go back into the build now, just in case someone tries to remove one of my vehicles, but testing needs to happen first, especially since the deck has 3 more backgrounds and 3 more of the choose-a-background legends in the 98. This deck definitely has me excited, especially after picking up a Getaway Car, Unlicensed Hearse, and Mysterious Limousine as singles a while back, and pulling a Stonehorn Dignitary from my binder and a Surgehacker Mech from a Neon Dynasty pack. In other news, Izzet and Simic still suck, but I lucked the heck out with Farideh dice rolls (Realms, Baldur's, and maybe Unfinity), Glacian//Toggo landfall/artifacts (Commander Legends and many others), Alora//Tavern Brawler adventures (Baldur's and Eldraine), and Volo non-tribal tribal (Realms and several others).

It's hard to say definitively, but I love one of my first decks I ever made called 'Special K'. It has Kraum, Ludevic's Opus & Kodama of the East Tree as it's head, with Keruga the Macrosage as it's companion and functional third commander. It's a non-linear deck, jam packed with pet cards that I love (like Fact or Fiction, Terastodon, Woodfall Primus, Colossal Skyturtle, Psychic Possession, to name a few) and it's a pretty casual deck but it can win the game with a few cheeky bounce land combos with Kodama out if the game goes on really long. And it's got a clean $100 budget as well; I enjoy setting a budget as a challenge so I don't end up using the same powerful cards every time and have to be a little more creative. Yeah, it's definitely one of my favorite decks I've made and might be my favorite, depending on my mood :)

I have a Kataki mono white artifact deck that has some of the same pieces. The problem is it has a stax element, whereas Ao doesn't. It's really fun to play I've used Zuran orb to sac all my lands, second sunrise, sac again, to gain enough life to dome someone with aetherflux reservoir. I might try swapping out Ao because it passes the rule zero Convo better. Great idea!

I like your decks man.... but I just feel that sometimes you lack wincons on them. I mean, a commander that is constantly being sacrificed and doesn't have haste will not be attacking all the time. Think you should have more damage with creatures to compensate this, like Adarkar Valkyrie (has vigilance and flying and can revive Ao). Another take could be Breathkeeper Seraph (can revive commander and do damage). Also, imo Gift of Immortality is an auto include on this deck... dont know if you dislike the card but surely it is better than almost every "revive commander" card in the list you've made. Keep up the good work ;)

Salvage Scout might work out well for you, it's a 1/1 for a W but it has pay a W and sacrifice it to regrowth an artifact for you, pretty decent considering your theme

My favorite commander deck is a mono Green stompy with Goreclaw. Nothing fancy, no combo, just big trampling creatures and some anthems like Ibex

I think lifeline would be an interesting card to have in here. I know quite a few people think it is a terrible card, but I would venture to say it would make the gameplay more fun.

my favorite is Sefris of the Hidden Ways, combos, recursion, tricks, the repeated dungeon diving is different and where that deck sits now is I try to complete every dungeon before I try to win which sometimes can all be done in one turn.

It’s hard to pick a fav commander for myself. I spend so much time with each commander deck I build. My Shorikai deck has been built twice, in proxy and non proxy. The proxy being entirely Gundam themed. My Miirym deck being the perfect commander I’ve always wanted ever since I started MTG, going wide and dragons. And now my Ghyrson Starn deck. I’ve always wanted to build a burn commander. And man does he do the job perfectly!

A really mean and weird card to have interact with Yosei is Equipoise. You could even add Sands of Time en lieu of Yosei as it is (just as Equipoise) a permanent with mana value

Your deck designs are interesting. You play janky Commanders and strategies, but with expensive/mainstream cards in the 99. Hmm I often do the opposite. Like I made a Kenrith deck full of mana dorks to mess with the commanders swiss army knife of abilities. I do get targeted a lot though....maybe I should try your approach?

Some commanders draw so much heat regardless of how your deck is made, Kenrith is one of those. You could try a different 5 colour commander as a bluff but always search for Kenrith to win ;p
