Carb-phobia is terrible for performance and longevity. Smash in the complex carbs and fibre

I feel great on low carb, very alert and steady.....as long as I'm not working out at all I can't even get through a warm up without carbs

I think people that are typically doing the low carb thing are also doing low cal - they need to eat more fats to supplement the lack of carbs.. need fuel

Funny everyone is taking caffeine/uppers. I have been taking mood relaxers prior to class. I fall into that zen much faster and am able to process more methodically.

Thanks for this video. There's not too many videos specifically on this topic for grappling. I've been taking 2-3 hour classes and completely bonking out (carb crashing) to the point my body has been cramping, complete exhaustion and my brain can't think well. Hydration and electrolytes are good so I assumed must be simple carb deleting. Glad to hear you're a fan. I know body builders use it for long hard workouts and I figured that would be similar but also trying to drop unnecessary body fat. Looks pretty inexpensive and worth giving a try. Appreciate you

Chewie your style of talking to the camera reminds me of Eliot Hulse. Has he been an inspiration to you? You’re both very knowledgeable and straight to the point. And you’re both experts in your field.

I don't even need pre workout. Just wanna say thanks for the content. Joining a gym is probably the best decision I've ever taken. I don't think I would've had the nerve if it wasn't for this channel, thanks :)

I’m pretty consistent with a low carb/keto diet. Once my body made the transition from carbs to burning fat for energy the lethargy went away.

I used to be reliant on coffee or energy drink before training. I could not perform unless i had it. Now im happy to just have something to eat beforehand instead

How soon before training would you take dextrose? Been experimenting with pre training nutrition and have my last meal now 3 hours before training, just some museli and milk but seems like adding a dextrose supplement in soon before might help even more.

Where can I ask questions? If you read these comments firstly big fan secondly I whant to know grapling but becouse of covid I cant so is there any tips any grip stringth exercises or any other exercises I can do so in a year when corona is over I would not be at an absolute beginner? And lastly why is there no BJJ in my country(Iran) is it becouse Iranians are relatively poor and BJJ is more centrelized than other sports?

Say you lift in the morning then train BJJ at night. Do you use it before BJJ at night or after you lift in the morning?

1/4 cup of oats, 1 spoon of agave nectar or hunny,1 banana, 12 oz of coconut milk..almond milk...any nut milk 1 hour before. As a former pre workout protein powder junkie I came to realize, for me it was a waste, eat.real.food

Look into the scientific studies on BCAAs. Not all they are cracked up to be. Use what Chewy just suggested. It’s basically sugar and salt; the two things your body loses during hard training

225 grams of protein in a single pre-workout shake? Does David not have any protein at all in any of his other meals, or has he chosen to ignore all current scientific literature?!
