I’ve recently become obsessed with growing roses and finding the perfect perfume to match this new era… and I have struggled with rose fragrances in the past. You have to find YOUR rose. Fresh and airy, juicy, jammy, dark… the options are endless. Right now, I’m obsessed with A La Rose from MFK. The musk does it for me.

Tom Ford Rose Prick is still my all time fave rose I just love how clean and soapy and sweet it wears on my skin. I’d say Delina Exclusif is right up there but I’ve only ever gotten my nose on the ALT Dupe…which I love!

Love this video! I get so many compliments on Hibiscus Mahajad!! Especially if I prep my skin with an "unfragranced" almond oil. I don't know why, but that combo is nuclearly attractive and probably my most complimented! But my fave rose is Delina la Rosée. In the same vein, Maison Crivelli's Rose Saltiflora is a Top 10 for life for me! I must like watery/ aquatic/ salty/ musky roses bc my next fave rose fragrance (also hugely complimented) is Young Rose by Byredo. Lastly, a shoutout to Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose (my husband's fave rose perfume and ridiculously affordable) and Gallagher's Rosé all Dae, an addictive, metallic-gourmand, autumn-leaning, rose and apple crisp. You have a fantastic list, and bc I always trust your recommendations, I am going to HAVE to try Brompton Immortals, Blonde Redhead and Lettre de Pushkar!

I don't know if rose will ever be my thing, but your video makes me want to try them. Have you thought of doing a best "unsweet" fragrances video? I put off developing a fragrance collection for decades because I didn't know unsweet perfumes existed until watching your videos. My skin amplifies and clings to any sweet note, and I can't stand most feminine leaning fragrances because of it. I now have Liis Bo and JHAG Sunny Side Up based partially on your reviews. I would love your guidance on finding more. Keep up the awesome work!

Anne, I thought I hated rose fragrances because all I'd ever smelled of rose was identical to grandmas rose scented soaps in the guest bathroom... Imagine my surprise when I fell in love with all things Delina and have been loving rose ever since. The Delinas are magical. I just got Rose Omeyyade from Atelier Des Ors. I think it will be beautiful in cooler weather. It is overwhelming right now. I really want to try Hibiscus Mahajad!!!

Ormaie 18-12 is so so good. I love it's powdery and sweet touches that dance around the cherry. It has a slightly classic/vintage style to it which I love and I think it's so nice. Definitely on my wish list. My personal favorite rose fragrance right now is Baie Rose 26 by Le Labo, a sparkling rose with touches of pink pepper. It's lovely :-)

Tuberose isn't my favorite flower but I was surprised by Love Tuberose from Amouage....wonder what is else is out there for those that want a little bit tuberose, nothing overwhelming to those that want only Tuberose.

Yes I've featured a bunch of them on my channel! Queening was a "like" for me. It's pretty, feminine, it kind of reminds me of Skylar Boardwalk Delight, but more refined. It's fluffy, clean yet sweet, very soft and easy to like. It doesn’t stand out to me but it does smell nice, I can see why a lot of people enjoy that one :)

Hi Anne. Thanks for another banger video with great selections! Have you ever tried Zimmer’s Smoke n Roses? I adore it! Check it out if you haven’t already. Have you tried Click Song by Une Nuit Nomade? Love it! The rose and patchouli blend is to die for I sure want to try a few of the scents you mentioned. I hate hibiscus mahajad though! Gave me an instant headache. Didn’t love Delina either, not bad but not great on my skin. Brampton immortals sounds intriguing….. same for blonde redhead. Gotta get my nose on those two.

Hmm, if BR540 hadn't blown up, I'd say BR540, but I might prefer Hibiscus Mahajad now. I love BR540 so much, and it's a profile I always want to have in my collection. It was the first niche fragrance I ever bought, so I have a lot of memories tied to it, and it's more versatile for layering, but it's a very popular DNA now. I like to smell more unique, and Hibiscus Mahajad definitely delivers that :)

Ex Nihilo does have a specific DNA in a handful of their fragrances. Gold Immortals is very pretty, it's very well blended, but the peony turns very rosy on me. It’s a touch too rosy for my taste, but it has a beautiful airy, addictive sweetness and a clean musk. Gold Immortals was a like for me, but Brompton Immortals just takes the cake in my opinion 😊

Hi Anne, I never thought I'd say I love rose but I do now! So thank you for this video. Only two I've tried are Idole Aura which is so easy to love. And Delina Ex. I shouldn't like DE bc normally hate oud but I love DE bc it's not that typical oud. The frag that converted me to a rose lover was Musicology The Rose (gorgeous heavy vanilla + jammy red rose). Other loves are Matiere Radical Rose, BDK Tabac Rose, Pearlescent Aquarose (dewy, salty, pink rose), Dreamhouse Ikiryo Rose Of Venus (dark, incense, red rose), Darren Alan Cupid's Bow (red rose + chocolate, gorgeous), Une Nuit Nomade Jardins De Misfah (dates + rose), CJ Scents Fluff Scent Bar + Red Rose (indie version of Musicology The Rose), DVN Soie Malaquais. Thanks for some great suggestions in this video!!

A video for rose agnostics, yay 🙈😆I STRUGGLE with this note, anything remotely close to the Delina DNA is my personal fragrance nightmare (sorry everyone I know I'm in the minority). Miss Dior EDP is the only rose perfume I own and like. Lettre de Pushkar sounds interesting! FYI a Lancome rep at my local department store told me that Idole Aura is discontinued, they removed the tester from display...looks like it is still widely available to purchase online though!
