IMO, for headphones, I get the cheaper gaming headsets. I have one that's a 3 in 1 (USB, Wired, BT). Also, gaming headsets have low latency which is great for gaming.

Something I found perfect for my Deck is wireless earphones with 2.4Ghz dongle. I chose JBL Quantum TWS, though there are other options that may fit other users better (like the ones with USB type-C passthrough made for meta quest) Dongle reduces latency and annoyance of Bluetooth pairing for me, without sacrificing ease of use of wireless earphones

Hey. Just to clarify, you said one button push (keyboard and mouse), but you need to switch the channel on the mouse too, right? I have both here, and i expected to switch together but never worked.

Yes, it‘s one button push per device. I should have clarified that, sorry.

The Killswitch case has quite a similar shape! It should fit in my opinion! Maybe somebody here is reading this who has both and that person can reassure me. But Im 99% sure it fits!
