My biggest regret is not making my digital notes, as they're omnipresent and follow you, unlike the textbooks and notebooks that usually bid you farewell, after a certain exam is passed. I'm a surgeon, planning to study for USMLE, but your videos are so incredible, and entertaining. If you're going to take up teaching after your med school, I can't actually imagine how incredible of a teacher you would become, as nothing is more memorable as a teacher that inspired you to learn something!

I'm not one to make pretty notes but this was really insane!!! There were a lot of things that you said which resonated with me especially the way your BREAKDOWN your notes to facilitate learning

I am currently a PhD (Psychology) student. I use my iPad just as much as I use my computer. I actually use them at the same time, which makes it easier for me. For example, I will pull up the literature on the iPad and take notes on my computer. I use Good Notes 6 so I can access the notes from either the iPad or my laptop. When I travel I just take the iPad, which is convenient for me. My laptop (Alienware) is bulky.

I think you're generalizing all students into one category of needs. As a math, chemistry, und biology student, the iPad meets all my studying needs. With it, I am not only able to do schoolwork like math and stoichometry problems, but also have an infinite canvass to make mind maps in order to help me organize the information learned in biology and chemistry. I’m also able to perform extensive research for tasks such as lab reports. For me, it’s an all in one. I guess it just depends on what classes you’re taking and your personal study methods.

That was fascinating and useful. Well done! I've subscribed. I'm just starting with FC (and with video editing more generally) and would like to be able to do what you've done, but with a twist. I'm planning to create a series of videos teaching math. I would to start by displaying a math expression that I've created with LaTeX on an otherwise blank screen. I'd then write on that "slide", with oral commentary. Next, a second math expression would be displayed together with and below the first (marked-up) expression, and so on. I'd be grateful if you (or another viewer) could provide a rough outline of how I should proceed.

We miss your videos

Personally, not just Ipads but just tablets in general. They are underrated have much better battery life than most laptops, and easily replace laptops for student needs. But the moment you start talking about more heavy duty stuff like gaming, video editing, 3d modeling, you will start having to think of using a laptip.

Mac mini for home and a iPad for classes ?

how do ppl know what size storage to get....my old ipad air 2 was 128gb....i take alot of photos but move them from ipad to external hardrive every few months....i dont game its mainly storage of photos and videos....should i stick to 128?
