That’s what i do as well, i eat a lot of Rice lol. So easy and i add some green tea and no essential oils since it is parfume and as a skincare nerd i avoid it. Scalp = skin as wel🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for this video! Will def check out the briogeo cream, I’ve realised I need some more protein in my styling routine! Used the briogeo gel before but it worked well for me only when combined with another gel, like you mentioned, but I’m excited about the cream!

I love Briogeo curl charisma cream! Its so good especially when my hair is over moisturised. You should also check out Curls Bamboo Protein Treatment - even though it says protein treatment, it's a leave in with smaller plant based proteins. These two are so far my favorite! Definitely getting Curlsmith one when I finish these up

I have finer medium porosity virgin hair, with only 2a - 2b - 2c waves. I try to figure out if my hair likes protein or not. I bought the "noughty to the rescue gang" as my first real CG products, so I started CGM with acctually having proteins in the routine. People say that you want the hair to not feel too soft or too brittle and look "healty". But I simply don't understand how I can judge what is TOO soft or TOO brittle! (I struggle with judging the stretch test too, cause I don't have any point of reference..) My hair has always been dry-floofy and not silky, and I don't know what "the most healthy" look of my hair is, cause everyones hair texture is different! Is it dangerous to purposely try to push your hair to the edges of the protein-moisture-scale to get to know the differences? Or is there a less extream way of getting to know my hair in depth? Help!♡ Love your channel by the way, you where the first too teach me about this, you are always so clear and simple to understand!♡

I absolutely have to use protein in at least one of my stylers. My hair prefers using a moisturizing conditioner followed by Curlsmith feather light protein cream, then their foam, and shape up gel. So my hair LOVES protein

Have you tried the Noughty Intensive Care serum? Lots of proteins in there. My shampoo is he Burt's Bees baby shampoo which used to contain soy protein, but has been reformulated without it. Pity!

I don't really use serums, but I did try it ages ago. I totally forgot to include the Noughty Curl Primer when filming this video which is another great lightweight leave-in type product! Ahh that's a shame about the shampoo!

Sorry for the late post but would you mind helping me with this question on protein? My hair likes protein so I always use one styler with protein, either my leave-in or gel. I watched a video about moisture/protein and the lady said that gels are not absorbed into the hair. I am so confused because I am always looking for gels that have protein,and if this is true why do gels then have protein in it at all?🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😁

I have (and love) a bunch of these products already but took so many notes because I need to try some of your combos!! One product you didn’t mention is the My Soigne protein cream … that mixed with their hair cream and the flaxseed gel give me some of the juiciest, bounciest clumps I think I’ve ever had ❤️❤️❤️
