Man in the world of KZbin there’s another louder, faster and more expensive supercar or hypercar everywhere. But your passion, and what you put into your car is so cool to watch. Truly appreciate your content, and love to see your journey with (what is gonna be) one of the finest 360‘s out there. Well done mate! I’m happy for you

I completely agree. And it doesn't even have to be a 360 for me, a Citroen BX like Number27 was fixing up is also interesting and satisfying to watch

Having worked for Ferrari at the time of the 360's release I can absolutely guarantee you Sam that the paint will be 100x better than it was when it left the factory & showroom! Cannot wait to see this when it's done!

I was thinking the same thing, isn't their paint notoriously thin? This thing should be better than new.

Well Sam....I sense your nervousness! Green would look awesome with the tan interior, but I am a stickler for originality, so I understand your desire to stick with red. I'm really starting to understand why you love the 360 so much. Stats don't matter anymore nowadays with cars going close to 2000hp from factory. With every other car being kinda the same and lacking character. And with cars becoming more and more tech heavy (and literally heavy). Prices going up. You get my point. And I think nostalgia helps as well. Amazing to see you sticking to that old horse! Great to see the content. Really enjoying it. Greetings from Germany!

So cool to see a KZbinr keep a car long term. It’s a lot more relatable to how it works in the real world, and more engaging knowing the car won’t just be sold in a month.

Looking forward seeing the make over of your 360. Also long time viewer love your content and also live seeing you daily wear a Omega Speedmaster Professional it really is a perfect watch in my opinion. Even though you’ve never talked about it I’ve always that that particular watch has a special meaning to you , it seems to be part of you and I just love that!
Not that my opinion matters since it's your car, but i wholeheartedly agree with stripping it down and doing it properly. That is the worthy treatment of a car you want to keep for many years. Far from always doable, fårking expensive, but following this is going to be SO cool :)

It great having a totally 'as new' absolutely immaculate car but THE biggest drawback is that you become afraid to use it. Parking in a carpark only to find the pristine paintwork now has a door ding, you don't want to push it to it's limit as you're afraid of getting stone rash etc (product of experience with a GTSi). Once done, and after a period of time, I'd be putting some quality paint protection film on it
@henryhealy3 жыл бұрын
How much of the car do they take apart for the bare metal repaint? Back to the shell?
@malcholden53573 жыл бұрын
I can’t remember what exhaust you currently have on your 360 but it sounds very similar to mine. Mine is actually a Milltek exhaust.
@Riful3 жыл бұрын
I'm a fan of keeping things original and all but I really wouldn't mind if you picked a different OEM color you enjoy, can always change it back to Rosso corsa in 20 years when you want to sell it.
Think you should probably replace that fire extinguisher too, if you haven’t already. Just in case.
@soliver2063 жыл бұрын
I’d love to see you take the car to NVM and JWW when your done with the repaint for a full custom PPF so you can add an other layer of protection on this beautiful car Sam. Plus I love when you two collaborate.

you could always wrap it green at some point when the paint is cured. protect it that way instead of or with PPF.
@shineyboots3 жыл бұрын
Sorry Sam, but i think you should let it be what it is . It'll be all shiney and new for the first day and when te first blemish comes along it will all have been for nothing. Ok make sure the paint is covering the metal so there's no rust issue. For me it is a car to be used and seen to be used., not something youre all concerned about if there's a tiny chip or whatever. Surely there must be something mechanical that you could waste the money on.

It’s a great car and you, just like me, believe we will hold on to our cars until the second coming…however we really don’t. There’s going to be something calling your name. Anyways, I have a 991.2 GTS and wrapped it. Very happy I did as any mild scratches can be ironed out with a heat gun/hair dryer. Something to confided. I really wouldn’t repaint. Looking forward to joining you in your journey no matter your route.

Sweet. Once the new paint has cured, you could wrap it green, instead of a clear PPF, to protect the Rosso.. 🤙

Hey Sam. Are you going to PPF the paint once it’s fully cured?
@tloc10433 жыл бұрын
Notice you didn't mention the cost. For a full bare metal respray, assuming no major bodywork repairs needed, I would estimate not much change from £30,000. If the car was to be soda blasted then + £40,000 or if it was to be acid dipped to get every bit of paint off then closer to £60,000.

Can they do the paint shields or does that require new wings?
