Drove my F430 spider about 600 miles in the past 11 months. In service at continental autosports. All TPMS sensors to be replaced (over 10 years old) $1,250. Annual service $1,250. Decent oil leak discovered during service. Change out gaskets $6,000. You just have to be aware that at the 15 to 20 year mark, the cars cost real money to keep in good shape. The price of ownership.

The F430 Ferrari’s only need an ‘annual’ if they are NOT being used regularly. Once used regularly you should switch to the mileage based service schedule. On the F430 it is 6250miles for the first service but then every 12500 after that. Given the 360 chassis is much the same - wishbones, flamblocs, and ball joints that 360 engine being belts has a ridiculously low mileage interval at 6250. Worth factoring this in if considering both cars. F430 if used regularly will likely be cheaper to run (no timing belts - chain driven cams on the 430). Great to show that these cars need using and can take massive punishment like the Mille Miglia and the drive there and back.

Sam I had an idea. This is based on something you said in your podcast about doing road trips with people who are fans of the channel. You said doing a road trip with subscribers would be difficult because of the numbers, o why don’t you create a road trip where you take just 2-3 people with you and film some content. Obviously they would need to be content friendly people, but you can charge an amount for the people to attend and that amount will only get interest form people who want to pay. It’s an earner for you and people get to do a road trip with you.

Replaced the wheel bearing on my Ford Ranger , it cost me 300$ to have it replaced . The original one lasted for 180,000 km , proving that Ford is better than Ferrari .
@360trev2 жыл бұрын
You really aren't comparing like to like. A ranger isn't going to be stressing its bearing on hard cornering etc. pulling G forces as a supercar can do on modern rubber. Furthermore neither Ford or Ferrari make the wheel bearings. They are infact made by SKF, one of fhe largest wheel bearing manufacturer's in the world. Probably same manufacturer did both applications....
@Notasheepleandneverwillbe2 жыл бұрын
@@360trev And Ford sells them cheaper , so it's still better . I have much bigger wheels on my truck too , and that's like adding a breaker bar to a wrench . And I live in a farming community where milk trucks and heavy farming equipment have destroyed the roads . Making it like I'm off roading even when I'm not . Take a 360 off road and see how long those wheel bearings last .
@360trev2 жыл бұрын
@@Notasheepleandneverwillbe each wheel bearings specification is designed for a given purpose, it's not better or worse, just different requirements. This is particularly true if both are sourced from the same global manufacturer. Just different requirements change things like how long it will last Vs it's weight, etc. On price well this is a low volume high value brand badged vehicle (ie niche ) so ofcourse the prices will be on another level. If you buy a Ferrari don't expect wheel bearings to cost Ford prices. It's that simple.

@360trev2 жыл бұрын
It's nothing to do with quality. The redline on the 360s all alloy Aluminium engine with 5 valves per cylinder, variable exhaust valve geometry, titanium connecting rods is 8650rpm give or take 50rpm. What does your Volvo red line at? Metal wears so the faster you twist it the more regular the maintenance! The engines are very well built and 6k or annual servicing is a testament to the amount of power they where able to extract out of such a small capacity block engine. If you build a big heavy low revving engine it will take more abuse but it will be slower and not the same enjoyment.
