Thanks for your video. What I would like to see is the middle class homes and areas to see how people live. I have seen a lot of videos of Nairobi streets walks, but not the places of interest in Nairobi, like the parks, etc. I am not getting any history. I would also like creators telling us what is the population of the city, the jobs and what keeps the city going, etc. Just watching buildings is not enough because many creators are showing the same thing.

Welcome.Anyways most cities in East Africa might tend to look alike except Nairobi.Its the most modern city in Africa and the only city that looks more of western cities its not something to be proud of means we cannot be creative in our own ways.its also a vivid confession from expatriates who visit after being around Africa.In the near future the city won't be recognisable.
@vimtech9 ай бұрын
what do you mean 'the most modern city in Africa'? Have you been to jo'burg. Nairobi is modern but its definitely not the most modern.
@billyruita81559 ай бұрын
@vimtech, I've visited 17 cities globally, including Joburg, Pretoria, etc. It's developed, but the infrastructure is aged, similar to most cities in South Africa. Not that it's a bad thing, but it becomes evident when comparing to other African countries. While the rest of Africa was busy struggling to build their own cities, South Africa had already industrialized. However, now countries like Kenya, Morocco, and Egypt are catching up, with their cities showcasing modern development. Nairobi, for instance, has witnessed rapid infrastructure construction in the last 20 years, featuring modern architecture in buildings, roads, and estates. In a few short years, Nairobi is poised to stand out globally as a city to reckon with among the top global cities.

Your Tourguide let us down,that green matatu that you said was noisy and she tried to discourage you from getting into was infact the first opportunity that brought itself to you to feature the actual Nairobi matatu culture that may have been very useful in this video, infact its what you were asking for when starting this video, A good tourguide should understand the purpose of the video and know the key areas to expose you to,not taking you or discouraging you from getting to the critical areas that people want to watch, Im disappointed with her
