Great to see, started almost the exact same run two days ago. That trap room in the crypt, go turn based, open tomb, click button to stop traps, exit turn based.

If you're going to use Hirelings at camp, you can pick up chests, drop them at camp, and have a wizard use knock on them instead of using thieves tools.

If it isn't someone you know has a lot of game knowledge don't trust chat. I've watched people be wrong constantly in chat over the years you have played BG3. Even with thousands of hours in I did something in a different order starting Act III last night and saw multiple new things(rushed tribunal for Bhaalist armor skipping both the Valeria/murder quest and coronation). This is why I say "I believe" or "I think" when I'm not 100% certain. You can't mess around with 95% certain doing solo HM.

great idea to do this! a very useful solo thing that I have learned from our very best Luality is handling multiple potions in one turn by dropping them on the ground and moving them and then making them splash with magic missiles or arrows. like putting a healing potion and a speed potion in front of you and a water bottle in front of the enemy to get them wet.

I played as a halfling. Being short is definitely a disadvantage, but you can use the mobile feat to compensate.

Super cool se you try this. Took me 450h and many tyres get my solo honnormode spore Druid run done, including a wipe at last fight in a 100h run :) gl and will follow your streaming/videos. I’m atm trying a witch run with the with mod (frost witch)

Just writing a comment after my failed attempt on complete the game on honour mode. After 82h of my game I lost a fight against Cazador. I’m sooo resigned right now to even look at this game again😅

@@WolfheartFPS I’ve never progressed that far, even on normal difficulty. I always end up my runs at the beginning of third act in Rivington, so entire 3rd act, (Viconia, Lorrokan and this f*cking Cazador) was a new experience to me 😂

FYI you could have opened that other door but lighting both torches on either side of the door, but going the way you did was probably better because you get to use the barrel.

Love it. Solo run is the only thing that makes me play the game, and damn is it a fun challenge! I actually recommend NOT going gloom/assassin since that can lead to repetitive boring gameplay. Try any of the bard OP multi classes are more fun for a fresh playthrough. Or just straight Hunter (the lvl 11 capstone is insane) - maybe with a 5hunter3thief leveling path until Respec.

Ohh and beware Myrkul and the astral prison monks. Those are gatekeepers for new solo players (who don't use explosions)

I am considering a solo honor mode run as well and have been looking at a Dark Urge Oath of Vengeance or an Oath Breaker Paladin

@@WolfheartFPS my thought process is Charisma for conversation and shop owners, armor for defense, and well places smites for dps. Still mapping out the scenarios in my head though. Boss fights like the owlbear and spiders can be deadly on honor mode even with a party of four

if you had went into turn base mode to get in the sarcophagus then you could have gotten out of there before the traps took there turn. I think the button only turns off the traps if you trigger them.
