My First Haircut In Africa 😂 🇹🇿 (#21)

I was in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and needed a haircut. There was only one option: take my white ass to a black barbershop for the first time to get the haircut. The rest is history.

I lived in Bukoba Tanzania 1962- 1963 next to the Lake Hotel right on the shore of Lake Victoria. My father was one of a group of teachers for South Africa this is when peace Corps first got started. The shore of Lake Victoria was my playground every day I spent countless hours playing there with my dog. You had to be in your house by nightfall because the hippos would come out and mow the grass around our house. There was a village of fisherman on the shore about a mile away I used to go down there and pester them very early in the morning and watch them haul in the big fishing nets. Needless to say I absolutely love/enjoyed your videos brings back so many memories thank you so much.

Well saying that to someone that is used to short meaning to the skin.. I think this is long to the barber. Not too short is relative. Beef vs Chicken is not, it's either or. I agree it's not what he asked for.. but he also didn't do a good enough job in explaining what his version of not too short is.... A better comparison would have been I asked for white meat and the brought dark. Or I asked for veal and brought me a t-bone.
