Swayne Martin 1 What battery type does caravan 208b has? What is the amperage? Precautions? 2 Minimum battery voltage for external power start? Battery start? 3 What does a blinking blue LED on the panel mean? 4 How many hydraulically operated systems on the Caravan? I can only find brakes as hydraulic actuated but I am sure there will be more 5 What is Torque and how is it measured? Limits on the torque meter? 6 What are the indications of a primary prop governor failure? 7 What is on the Battery electrical bus? 8 Where is the ELT located? 9 Describe the nose wheel shock absorption 10 Air conditioner system and how it works? (Cant find it anywhere on internet or on meterial) please please please can someone help!!!!

wow, good for you young man! this will be one of those life memories i'm sure you'll remember forever. i'm a cessna fan. bought my skylane new in 2005, i still have it. those new caravans are awesome aircraft. out on cape cod, we have cape air flying all around and i see young pilots all of the time and think how cool it is to get started so early and have all those fun flying years ahead of you. hope it's a great experience!

Awesome video Swayne. I see you have about 500hrs. For 20 yrs I was a Private/instrument pilot (750hrs). After seeing Steveo's videos late 16' I decide to go for the commercial and I passed the check ride 3/21. I now have the Multi check ride scheduled for 4/26 and I just summited my first application to fly Caravan's. Thanks for the video and I look forward to more.

My kids are coming up the pilot ranks. I have a couple questions about this… 1. Can you log the time that you are sitting first officer on an airplane that only requires one pilot? 2. Do they help you with lodging since it's very expensive to live in Hawaii? Also….be VERY careful on what you post online. Any major airline will look at your online footprint and you don't want a little fun video editing to cost you your dream job.

Good questions! You can log SIC time in a single pilot plane ONLY when the company op specs require and SIC. The op specs act as a FAR essentially, so even though it's certified single pilot, our air carrier cert here requires an FO. No help with lodging sadly - Luckily I have friends here! I try to be as careful as I can when filming and publishing content online. We received approval from the FAA to film passenger carrying 135 ops under certain conditions, so that's good!
