He was, is, and always will be The KING of ROCK and ROLL! He definetly was the very best Entertainer, of ALL TIME! He had the whole package... looks, charisma, the voice, the dance moves, humor, and humility! Most people don't realize what a fantastic humanitarian he was! He gave away so much money, so many houses, cars, and jewelry, that he kept very little for himself! HE was the BEST! A TRUE GOAT!

His musicians reacted to all of Elvis moves. Elvis on tour rehearsal he jokes around with his band making all kinds of moves and Roni his drummer responds. He always created excitement and did unexpected things to see if his guys were paying attention. He was a perfectionist and always gave his best.

Out of over 100 jumpsuits Elvis had, the American Eagle one in this video was made especially for this show Aloha from Hawaii and was the heaviest of all of his suits, it weighs 75 pounds without the cape. Since it was going out to over 40 countries and ended up being seen by 1.5 billion people, he wanted something that represented America, and what better than the American Eagle? So between the lights, and a 75 pound suit, and the pressure of a live concert going around the world, he sweat a lot. They did a Jan 12, backup show in case something went wrong with the live satellite feed on the 14th. This video is from the Jan 14, 1973 live show. Both versions are on KZbin and are just about exactly the same. The suit Elvis wore at Madison Square Garden in 1972 sold at action for $1,012,500.00. At the beginning of the video you see they spelled his middle name wrong with one A. It started out with one when he was born and through the army, but in the middle 60’s, I think 1964 he legally had it changed. He told his dad he wanted it spelled like it was in the Bible, that’s why everything after 1964 is Aaron instead of Aron. I just put that in here because people always wonder why was it Aron in school, and through the 50’s, but on his grave it says Aaron. You wouldn’t believe all the conspiracy theories since 1977 because of the spelling on a headstone.

My handsome best friend i will love and miss him forever we were friends for many years we met purely by accident long long story. We both needed a friend and we were that for each other he asked nothing of me and i asked nothing of him, i use to post memories of our friendship but people posted nasty hateful things. So i will keep my memories tucked away safe in my heart forever. As long as i have breath in my body i will protect Elvis and Priscilla until i die no one will disrespect them period what they did or didn't do is no ones business but theirs. R.I.P. my friend. #forevermyking #forevermysexyjello. Awesome reaction love from the one and the only Memphis Tn.

The flute player (who I also always felt was extraordinary) is Baltazar, he being a member of the Royal Hawaiian Band, of which he retired in 1985. He appeared in this concert during the "Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii" concert. As interesting is how Elvis for the only time in his life compiled a medly of 19th century songs. "American Trilogy" starts out with the song "Dixie" written by an Ohio native Daniel D. Emmett, of MT. Vernon, Ohio resident. Julia Ward Howe Wrote "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" after she visited Union troops. And the "All my Trials" was written/performed by Bob Gibson in 1956.

@@p.j.morris nobody knows everything about anybody!! And I know how hot stage lights are & with the jumpsuits, I'm sure it just made it worse. However perspiration drips down everywhere and if you would watch the video CLOSELY you can EASILY SEE teardrops rolling straight down his face. This is not the only time he teared up during an especially emotional song. You need to pay more attention to your "friend".. yea right, you lost me right there. Just another person trying to get attention by claiming to have once been a friend to the GOAT. We'll just have to agree to disagree, how about that.
