God, you are so right. Back then popmusic didn't take itself as serious as it does now. There was always a sense of humour to it. People weren't afraid to experiment because it wasn't the big business it is today. God i miss that. I hope somewhere out there there's some young musican who isn't just about the money but about the fun and the heart.

Haddaway once told in an interview how he liked what the producers of Snap! had done on Rhythm is a Dancer and so they decided to make this song in a similar style. When the director of the record label heard it, he said: "But the tone of the music doesn't fit the lyrics!" and Haddaway answered: "You're right, but it sounds cooler this way." Damn he was right. "Question: what is love? - Answer: the same as hate if you're not careful!" Quote from Give Me All Your Love by Magic Affair, which is another great dance song from that era, although most people will remember them for the previous single Omen III.

The female singer is Natasha Wright, besides some solo material, she did vocals on songs for Haddaway, DJ Bobo, Ice MC and was the singer of La Bouche after Melanie Thornton left the project. She can be seen in the video for Haddaway's Rock My Heart.

But I never thought of looking up other videos that might have been made from this album , until I read ur comment.. wow🤯 …. I don’t think I ever thought they existed because it wasn’t played here in the States.. u might think it’s weird, but I just wanna say thank u lol

@@gsciglia1 I don't think of it as weird and I'm happy you felt inspired to go on the search for a blast from the past. It's actually not that long ago that I've posted a comment on a video of another American youtuber (he is a metalhead but enjoys dance/ edm too, especially from that time period) that I'm actually surprised how many European dance music was played in the US. And nowadays, even over here, many artists are just remembered for their biggest hit, like Haddaway and What Is Love, he had a total of 10 songs in the German top 100 (12 if we count two remixes of WiL in 2003 repectively 2009).

Watch 2 Unlimited - No limit, Whigfield - Saturday night, Scatman John - Scatman's World, 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor - Dreams, No Mercy - Where do you go...You're right too.
