Battery has nothing to do with violence. When Metallica first started out, they played most of their gigs at the Old Waldorf which is located on Battery St in downtown San Francisco. The song is an homage to their fans that have been with them since the very beginning

This album slaps!! Harvester of sorrow, One, to live is to die, the thing that shouldnt be, the call of Kutulu... I mean damm...its great, especially live! Ive been lucky 18x. Its surreal live, a whole different level!! Legends here, Period!! 🔥🤘〽️ Mop is about government control/ control period! Battery is actually for the fans, like me who seen them on battery street in the bay area! 🔥🤘〽️

the infamous missing bass. they turned down jason in the mix. there are corrected versions on yt that have the bass turned up.
