Disneyland is a true gem because it mostly feels untouched by the rampant corporate greed that has come to define this new era of Disney. Still full of exceptional and intimate experiences, the only true negative to the park is the mediocrity of Galaxy's Edge, but at least it's tucked away in the back and can be ignored. Runaway Railway coming is another "eh" but at least it's not replacing a classic attraction and creating further capacity problems like it does at Hollywood Studios. I can say that their Tomorrowland really needs improvement because of Eisner's destruction of the Peoplemover, but it's otherwise still such an incredible park.

I still vividly remember the original Disneyland. When we went on the Mark Twain River Boat one of the Officers tapped my Mom on the shoulder and asked if she was here with her family - She pointed at MY Dad Me & my brother. He invited us up to the Pilot House - meet the Captain help him Steer. We got Pilot Certificates signed by the Captain.
