Maybe you should try some challenges where you go out and eat lots by yourself? I feel like that transition to being able to eat lots on your own might be more difficult for you? It might help but totally up to you and you are doing great !

It’s sooo refreshing to see you and Satara get along so incredibly well! I can’t wait to finally be able to have fun with my brother again and stop thinking about food 24/7 and just enjoy being around my family without constantly lying and fighting. Recovery is going to give a normal and happy life back. Thank you for showing that recovery can give you so so much xx

I LOVE how supportive your family is. Like your mom is probably really hungry but she waits with you to try it. Idk if anyone else notices that but it’s just something that I’ve just now started to notice. They all do that. Like so you don’t feel so out of place when eating something new or something you haven’t had in years. You and your family are so amazing, Elzani. Much love from Greenville South Carolina! ❤️❤️❤️

Congrats Elzani, with enjoying life, getting better and better day by day! I can see you shining and getting more vibrant every video. I think some viewers are too focussed on weight. All bodies are different and I think your development and well-being is not only defined by (for the viewers viewable) weight restauration. I have a question. Just like you, i am battling an ed (and other disorders) for many many years. Sometimes i feel like i missed so much of the 'normal' life. This is an extra motivation to recover: being alive! Probably you have tried recovery many many times in the past, without real succes. Is that true? I try it all the time, but aftre a couple of days i chicken out because I get panic. Can you describe why you can push through this time? What is the difference with all the times you have tried but couldnt succeed?

can people stop commenting on how elzani still looks thin? or telling her to increase her portions??? just because your recovered body isn't stick thin doesn't mean it has to be that way for other people. i feel like out of all the people in the world people that suffer from eds should understand that bodies come in different shapes and sizes.... just because someone is "stick thin" it doesn't mean that they are restricting, over exercising, or purging. some people are naturally stick thin and i know it can be hard for some us to accept!
@Snickerdoods.x5 жыл бұрын
She's not back to her pre-ED self though. I think that's important to recognize. Trying to maintain a low weight while also recovering doesn't work. Most people in recovery DO end up gaining quite a lot, that's normal... it's the body's way of protecting against future famine.

@harmonyhope17095 жыл бұрын
@Life as we know it not entirely sure. Definitely a Southern accent, however in many regions of England now people lazily drop 't' in words and other letters too, so words blend into one another, lol. For instance doesn't it might become doesnit!

Don't want this to sound rude or like i'm undermining your achievements but I think this overdramatic playing-up of food and 'first time evers!' needs to stop. It's just a sandwich (something we all know you had before). Yes this may be your way of coping but it's getting pretty old now and it would be more beneficial for you to stop hyping it up so you can normalise eating and view food as just a necessary part of daily life, rather than something to be conquered?
@fre5805 жыл бұрын
Yeah and everything is always "the best" or "amazing". I feel like half the time she just says that to convince herself in an effort to keep eating because for some reason she has it in her head that everything she eats has to be amazing which is not realistic at all. Please do a challenge to get through a meal without saying these things. Just eat a meal and move on with your day instead of talking about it for the rest of your day.

@@alliealice4739 I sure do have seen all her videos. You know that this is an illness that isn't linear and it sooo easy to fall back, so you can't guess how things re going for her without her telling you. And what do you mean by "at lest she's eating"? That's a rather weird thing to say... it not about eating, it's about eating enough for recovery and for enjoying life.
