My First Wild Brown Trout of 2022 and on a Dry Fly!

I said I'd be back to the river now that the weather has improved and there is some insect life in the air and I was, this was the result, a beautiful wild brown trout!

Well done, only managed some on nymphs so far despite trying dries on both my outings. Going cold now for next weekend so may have to wait a bit, it will come in the end.

I saw a rise on the small river when I was walking my dog at the weekend and a couple this evening but it’s gone so cold again
