Fly Fishing for Wild Brown Trout - It was a tough summer on the river!

After the sun kicked me off the River Exe last summer, I've been watching the calendar and weather for that first trip fly fishing for the wild brown trout. We have had heavy rain but at last the rain had given me a break, the river was looking good but still a little high. Time to get the waders on!

Good to see you back Paul and getting a few rises (had some on nymph Saturday but nothing looking up). As you say let's hope for better this year. If your microphone plays up again may I recommend the foam windslayer thing for your gopro, only a few quid but really helps with the on camera audio.

Totally agree max catch fly lines good xalue just bought a load as good as more expensive ones

hi Paul good to see you back on the river , my first day was good friday and plenty of LDO hatching but nothing rising for them so finally put on a baby sunfly and had a 7in brownie then made my way to the last beat called the kings head and had a pint outside in the sun so for me a good day, look forward to your next video ATB Mike
