I’d like a system like this, but can’t use my tap water for the fish I keep (wild caught plecos and corys). The only fish that does well with our tap water is African Cichlids. Personally, I don’t care much for African cichlids. Most are too common and too easy. BLT with extra extra bacon 🥓 and diet Mtn Dew.

Been watching your video's like crazy, perfect blend of entertainment and information. This video got me thinking....that's a heck of a lot of water. Your water bill must be ridiculous, how do you manage that. I did the math and I might be a little high but that's like 2000 gallons a month. That's a lot of water, is that really necessary? Couldn't you trim that down a bit to maybe 3 times a week. Just trying to educate myself I have a budding fish room starting and trying to not go broke early, LOL. Thanks for the great work and looking forward to the future video's.
@MichaelsFishRoom

Our water isn't metered per individual gallon, so as an example if the house uses 2000-2500 gallons per month it is the same cost.

Love all your videos and your sense of humor! One question on this set-up, because of the carbon filter use you are not in need of using any chlorine remover? Or is it because you are only doing 5% of a water change at any given time?
