just a quick reminder: even if you work out and eat the same as her, your body will probably look different since our bodies are all different and will respond in a different way. she gave great tips and advice though so nothing wrong with that, just a simple reminder since our body does not define our worth ❤

I'm 36 and only now started to take my fitness and nutrition seriously. I used to work out in my twenties, but I was never consistent. Only now I realised that I have to establish a sustainable fitness routine and eat clean diet, because aging is not a joke. I can see how my body has changed and how weak I became. So my point is, better late than never 🙃

@WarsawBlondie4u2 жыл бұрын
Amazing! I wish I knew what you do at 16. I did the extremes, sure they worked, but they weren't sustainable. Now I do a balance and sustainable routine and am finally on the right path. Even though I am on my fitness journey right now, I still needed to hear this as a reminder - thank you! You have helped a lot of people with this video; losing weight isn't easy. For everyone watching this video, remember it took her 8 months to get where she wanted to be and she started off, in terms of BMI and probably body fat too, in the normal range. It took years to put on the weight for most of us, it will take years to loose it. It isn't a competition of who can loose the fastest. Take you time and enjoy being a work in progress! ❤

I love, LOVE these tips!! This is so refreshing after seeing all of the unhealthy, restricting things on a daily basis. I've been on my health journey for a couple years. Occasionally I go through seasons where I get off track and I eat a lot of unhealthy foods. But the important thing to learn is it is never too late to pick yourself back up and start again! Another thing is in a normal week, I workout seven times, with two rest days. I'm big on listening to your body, so I'm not afraid or ashamed if I need to take it easy or scale the workouts. This schedule also motivates me to eat properly so my body can be sufficiently fueled and ready to go. I also want to add that everyone's body is so different. Amelie is doing an AMAZING job, but don't think your body will look like hers if you do what she does. It's all about finding what truly works for you, and where you feel your best and most confident. YOU CAN DO IT! :)

I'm at 6 days working out(still at home) + macro tracking and for the first time in my life I can do pullups and have defined abs. I realized I definitely was NOT eating enough protein. Now at 150P a day, I feel SO much better. Tracking macros has finally made me feel in control and understand how my body works. Health is wealth !

I'm currently fourteen and I've been a really active kid (for example my schedule the last 6-7 years had been 2 times swimming 3 times climbing 3 times sports at school) and I've been kind of working out the last few years for like a couple of weeks and then give up. I gave up swimming this year. And on Jan 17 my friends and I started a journey of working out every. Single. Day. And it's been going very well. I've been sticking to it. I also try to reach around 10 000 steps a day. I've been trying to eat healthier. I eat fruit every day, and I'm trying to cut out things I know are bad for me. I drink around 2L of water every day. I love the journey I'm on rn. I love watching inspiring videos and podcasts to keep me motivated.

I really appreciate how balanced and mature you are about this subject, and the high quality of information. I am 19 and suffered from various EDs (eating disorders) throughout my teens, and since this video is likely to reach a vulnerable audience, I would like to add: It's important to question where your desire to loose weight comes from. Please educate yourself on fat-phobia and the body positivity movement. The fact that women, POC, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent folks are at significanlty higher risk of EDs is a testament to the fact that body shame and desirable aesthetics are rooted in oppression. Apart from anything, intentional weight loss has been proven unsuccessful in most cases. A fitness journey should be about self-compassion and mindfulness; taking positive steps for your mental and physical health, which is likely to result in improved self image because doing kind things for yourself will reinforce a kinder mindset. It can be easy to develop a restrictive mindset with food, instead of focusing on positive nutrition. Fitness should be about growth and abundance, and never suffering or deprivation. If you feel the urge to attain an 'ultimate goal' (especially weight), to punish yourself, or to 'prove' yourself in any way with 'discipline', you should definitely take a step back, because you are probably using weight loss as a coping mechanism for something, which is really dangerous. If you're in a bad place with your mental health, or if you have symptoms of body dysmorphia, binge eating, compensatory behaviours or food restriction, it's always better to work on that first. You have plenty of time to work on your fitness, once you have ensured that you are not at risk of developing an ED. Trust me, trying to recover and loose weight at the same time is a waste of time. Prevention is key, because most people don't even realise they have an ED until it's too late. If you have any disordered eating behaviours at all, even if you don't think you have an ED, then you deserve recovery. EDs are a living hell. Only around 1/3 of sufferers fully recover, 1/3 battle with it for the rest of their lives, and EDs kill around 1/3 sufferers. Please please please be careful!

Excellent tips. I’m on my 3rd week of my health journey doing chloe ting workouts and alexis ren plus madfit sometimes. I get impatient because i don’t see more visible abs in 3 weeks but i keep thinking it will take a while. All your points are excellent. I also don’t believe in cheat days because you need to be in your maintenance calories or under. If you think cheat days, you think you can eat anything, in huge amounts but that can cause weight gain. I hope i can keep this up. Your result is amazing! 🎉

Congratulations on your fitness& health journey! It's nice to Such a young girl with a good head on her shoulders who looks at things through such a healthy lens. Good 4 you girl! I grew up a strong healthy athlete too who loved food n never really cared about what I ate. I started developing, getting curvy & menstruating early. So YES that absolutely affected my self esteem & body image. So I started dieting & exercising & became super fit. However my downfall was my perfectionism & extreme nature. I took things too far, nothing was ever good enough & I developed a full blown eating disorder. I struggled immensely for many years on & off w/ Anorexia & bulimia. I have had months & years of full recovery & health, but I still have relapses. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. So my advice to you & everyone is to be cautious & keep things in check because things can become unhealthy in subtle ways. By the time you or others realize it's too late. I think you're gonna be ok just be aware!
