Yup...$233 million dollar scheeme. I can't say im surprised as very few "high rollers" you see on youtube etc are truly legit! The Ontario securities commission is investigating. Ultimately, they wont be charged criminally but if they are found guilty by the commission, they will be bared from trading securities and derivatives. They basically lied to a bunch of investors in Ontario Canada as to where they operate out of, their real names amongst other info to obscure their connection to companies they owned. There are more people that invested money but various countries have different laws. The US for example has charged at least 12 people criminally for doing something similar. Isreal has yet to do so which is where the brother operate out of. Shady AF!

@tbn225 жыл бұрын
Tbh I don't really care whether or not he inherited his wealth, or built a real business and sold it for a fat check. The fact of the matter is, my idea of success and cars and everything has changed drastically since last year. 5 years ago I was ready to sacrifice everything to get behind the wheel of a Ferrari like that, but having tried, again and again, to make that dream a reality without any success at all, I have seriously started questioning if it really is worth the price you pay in mental health and time. People who drive Ferrari's or any supercar tend to (obviously) be driven and ambitious people who want to achieve career goals over anything else in life, and that is good! My situation, I have found, is (and it grieves me deeply) that I am in no way mentally equipped to do what is required to start a real business and manage huge amounts of orders and money. life is too precious to waste away working like you're gonna die tomorrow. I don't want to live a life where money, career and position dictate who I am. I just want a nice quiet life without worrying about money. Where I can be myself without the world sticking its nose into it. I know I may sound pessimistic, and perhaps It just grieves me that some people are naturally driven in their careers... Maybe sometime in the future, I might get the idea for a business that will provide for a greater cause while simultaneously making me rich, but I strongly suggest that people think twice before sacrificing their mental and physical health for a material object that will be forgotten sometime in the future.

One thing to add: Josh is correct that in the US you can't quite get the harnesses as seatbelts here. The American transport agency (NHTSA) will consider a new car with those belts as a racecar, so such belts are invalid. That's a huge reason why the Mercedes-BENZ CLK DTM of the mid-2000s is allowed here under a show-and-display exemption; it only has harnesses as seatbelts. Same thing with roll bars and roll cages standard from the factory, which is why Porsches never arrive from the factory to US dealers with such kit. That said, you can add in harnesses (and roll cages) legally, and the harnesses WILL count as valid seat belts if police try to ticket you for it. Strange, eh?
