I LOVE Piranesi!! It's the best book I've read this year!!! Don't expect to know what's going until the end though and if you don't like flowery/beautiful writing then it might not be the book for you xx

OMG The Screaming Staircase!! I’m so so excited that you guys are reading it! It’s one of my favourite book series. I hope you love it, I found it funny and genuinely a bit scary. I’d say it’s a YA more than a middle-grade due to the writing style and descriptions of gore/violence

Omg I tried to do the read all the Goosebump books for a Halloween vlog a couple of years back. I ditched the footage as I only made it to The Ghost Next Door before getting annoyed with the plots 😂. I was shocked at my anger as I devoured them over and over again as a child. I didn’t enjoy the adult reading experience at all 😂 though it probably won’t stop me trying again in the future. I’m so excited for Bookoplathon! I’ve got my rolls, I just have to play for the TBR Game square…doing Play Your TBR Right once I pick up library holds tomorrow. Also, Steph’s pick made me anxious, as I’m waiting for The Heart Principle to come in the mail from Book of the Month…tracking says it’s been “in transit” since August 13, and I received a BOTM email on Sunday suggesting if it doesn’t come within 3-5 business days, I should contact them. I *was* planning to read it before release day on the 31st, but I’m now thinking once I do get it, it might have to roll over into September, especially since it does fit one of the Bookopoly prompts I got.
