I had the EXACT same problem mate! You need to open your hips! So you need to go back to the advanced tuck variation and try to bring your knees furhter away from the bar like I do in the video!

Nice video...I can hang leg raise, tuck hold & 1-leg front lever, right now...can't really hold both feet in the front lever. Still practicing though. I need to practice it more frequently. I like how U come down slow from on top of the bar, I dont think I can do that, I will try it today. Anyway, any video breaking down the front lever, from start to finish will be helpful.
@CalisthenicsFamily6 жыл бұрын
Sounds good bro! I've actually always come down from on top of the bar! That's one of tips that I can give you already!

Going down from top of the bar is a good idea, because you are practicing a negative muscle up at the same time. I will do this also when i practice front lever, great video.

what skills/moves did you learn in your 1st year of calisrhenics? i can only do an L sit on the ground, muscle up, pullover. im learnin to hanstand
@CalisthenicsFamily6 жыл бұрын
During the first year we both (Michael & Yannick) focussed on the Muscle up, the Handstand and the Backlever. After 1 / 1.5 year I started on the frontlever and planche!
@marcelchalobah79466 жыл бұрын
im trying to go from handstand to L sit, i'm improvin 1 day, ore success by the end of the year at least 20k subs
@omnistellar56476 жыл бұрын
Hell yeah dude you'll get it! I've been doing calisthenics for 11 months myself. My training's focus has been handstands so I can swap between L-Sit & Handstand back and forth already, but I'm awful at muscle ups. So in my opinion there's no level you "should be at", it's a matter of what you've put your time into. I personally just want to specialize at handstands and planche so while I train everything else, I don't as much as those two components.
