@@xStaySkilledx What's the cost looking like all said and done for the supercharger? From what I've seen making these cars faster is fucking expensive. Even though I love my G I can't wrap my head around spending so much when you can start with a turbo car that comes with a turbo and get so much more power for less money.

@@ericmarciniak3541 idk I mean I went with a few optional upgrades, expensive gauge and gauge pod setup, fuel return system, flex fuel kit, but all in all I think it was about 10k to run 600+whp? With initial cost of the car being 9k and other mods about 2k I think it’s good power for the money.

Thanks for the video. My wife's been hassling me to get a remote start because "everyone at work" blah blah blah. I bought this and hooked it up using this video and the online directions. Some issues for anyone reading this: 1. I connected a wire near the near the door switch rather than messing with the giant bundle. It was a pain to route but I had a perfect wire laying around for it. 2. I soldered my connections and then taped them up. 3. Re-connecting the PTS connector was extremely hard for me. I ended up removing the switch so I could line it up. It's held on with only 2 clips at 5 oclock and 11 oclock and comes off really easy. Find a video and give it a try if you have trouble. 4. Programming it to my OEM fob was a bit confusing but it could be that I'm not good at following directions with that many steps. Both fobs work after programming one. 5. That black connector for programming was a bear to connect. I had to temporarily unclip the shell to get it connected.

I really appreciate this video! Was considering getting prestige system and combining with carlink for my g37 but I see now that this is a lot more than originally anticipated. I will back out for fear of potential fires due to my ineptness

Would this work with other brand remote starts? I don’t like the idea of the three locks for a start. I found one with its own designated remote called compustar 2WG15. Also it has an app for access and such.

I had a remote starter added to my '11 G37 and now my interior lights work intermittently (mostly off). When I went back to the shop he said he didn't so never the interior lights. After watching your video I see that's not true at all. Any idea wha it could be ? Im going back to the shop this week. Thanks.......Great Video

Do you think we can use an aftermarket remote to skip pressing the lock button 3 times or use another OEM Infiniti remote with the remote start button already but just reprogram it?

If you want to get away from pressing the lock button three times, I believe the manufacturer has a remote they can sell you that will accomplish that. Regarding aftermarket remotes, I believe this unit will work with any remote that is programmed to be used with your car, regardless if its OEM or not.

I believe this same company sells a long range remote + antenna you can purchase and connect to this unit, thus eliminating the need for an OEM key fob. Good luck.

Hi, I just received one of these but none of the wires are labeled. I’m just curious if the brake light tap is the solid brown wire from the kit and also is the door sensor wire the orange with a black stripe? Sorry to bother you. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean parking lights? Yes, its the solid brown wire that goes connected to the red wire. The other wire you mention should be like a lite orange/pinkish with a black stripe, yes, and that goes connected to the door sensor. Good luck!

Great, thank you. I’ll be making those two connections this coming weekend. It also wouldn’t start with the Infiniti RL2 plug connected, but starts with the Nissan RL1 plug instead. I’ll be researching that more as well because the lock button 3 times doesn’t shut off the car. Thanks again for your help, there’s not a whole lot of info out there and I can’t believe my kit didn’t come labeled.

I just finished mine and wondered the same thing. I ended up giving it a try before connecting the passenger side wires and it started fine. I think it's unnecessary if you are using the OEM fobs.

Hello, It's a good video. I installed an evo all on my infiniti Q40 (same as g37) and everything works. 3X on lock and it starts, and 3X on lock it stops ... but when it stops, the doors automatically unlock as when you stop the car normally. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? Thank you

When the battery need changed does the module have to be unplugged and paired again ?

No. It worked without having to pair again.

Yesterday have installed fortin evo all on me g37 2008 at. Remote start works fine but it does not turn off remotly. Does it suppose to be like this?

No. If you remote start it, you should be able to remote turn it off as well. Check your wires to make sure you tapped into the dome light that turns on/off when you open the car door.

This happened to me on my first go, check the door cable you tapped into. There are cables that look very very similar to the one I discuss in the video so you probably tapped into the wrong one.

I disabled the the audio confirmation for locking the car. The method in doing so is holding the lock and unlock button on the key fob for two seconds.

@@Miamig37 a clear precise-to-the-point directions is a must, especially a DIY. The more directions and specifics the better. Pointing to the location, exactly, with your finger or a screwdriver or whatever helps pinpoint where and what you are referring to.
