The Haunted mod is kind of interesting There's Strange Slugcats, Sudden Echos, Strange things, and Even a Zombie Slugpup. I Do like the idea of NPC Adult Slugcats appearing in game though.

Spitter spiders (the red spiders) take around 2 spears to kill, that’s why it didn’t die the first time. Also spiders are more aggressive in brighter areas, and that’s why it kept following you lol. Either that or it REALLY likes you, if you know what I mean😏😏

Spitter spiders have 1.25 hp iirc. So survivor and monk and rivulet won’t oneshot, but Spearmaster and Hunter and Arti will.

It's very cool how the AI of the zombie adult slugcat is. He can do parkour and it's funny when the white tail artificer just steam one of your pups. Is like if the ghost of ascended artificer was trying to get his slugpups or something

Oh yeah, I was playing Hunter once and killed a red spider but didn't eat it, found out that there's either a bug or a feature where sometimes they'll just get back up if they aren't eaten.

​@@nekomataumbreon Flashbangs do not kill Spitters if you used that, but Spears are also not nessecarily guaranteed kills due to RW death mechanics. Creatures that are not too far under 0 HP have a chance to die every game "tick", and normally this just leads to them bleeding out. Spitter Spiders, however, are one of the few creatures that regenerate health over time, *even below 0 HP*. Therefore unless you properly overkill them, they can survive being below 0 HP, get up, recover fully, and be ready to go again after some time.

Soo I've just figured out how this mod works from some people on discord, though I'm not sure if its true. From what I understand, the mod creator has the ability to control aspects of the game (creatures, etc.) from a third-party server. I say I don't know how true this is for reasons like "what if he's asleep?", but it has to do with something controlling the game. Or it could even be random events scheduled.
